I'm not sure if I post here if I'm looking for a game vs recruiting for one? I'd like to play Skull and Shackles specifically but I think those games already started?
So if I'm a player looking for a game is it ok to post here not not?
Generally games here are competitive enough that GMs aren't looking for single players out of the blue. That's the real point of posting in a recruitment thread - you get to compete for slots in a game the GM actually wants to run. Sometimes full player groups will post looking for a GM and make a connection, but in those cases the GM is unlikely to run a full AP.
So, in summary, you are allowed to post as a player looking for a game. You'll just have more success applying to a game looking for players.
Hmm I'd love to try Jade Regent if I can find a game of that.
I'm still looking for a Jade Regent game but it seems no one is running those or they are very far in.
APs kind of flit in and out of popularity. They work in fads. Right now Kingmaker is in in a couple of months maybe Wrath of The Righteous will come back or Curse of The Crimson Throne. Jade Regent is one that I haven't seen much of, however.
