This comes from fighting Iron Golem; is Ranged Damage considered Ranged Combat Damage i.e. Combat Damage?

Just wanted to make sure we could soak Ranged Damage with any armor (this case, Boolsering Armor). Not the banish/bury for 0; just the reduction power.

Ranged Damage is just Ranged Damage.
Ranged Combat Damage is both Ranged Damage and Combat Damage.

If the damage being dealt is just "Ranged Damage" and not "Ranged Combat Damage" then the only way to 'soak' it would be to use an effect/ability that can soak either all damage or specifically Ranged Damage.

I don't know what the Iron Golem says specifically, but the above should cover it.

So it is Ranged Combat damage if you roll a 4. That can be reduced by anything that reduces Combat damage or Ranged Combat damage.
