Are you paying for the Origin client? I've paid them for games, but Battlefield 3 is free, as Dead Space was earlier. Never paid a cent to them that I didn't want to.

It is free, as is downloading Origin. Not as good as Steam, but not terrible either.
BF3 is a very fun game that keeps up with today's standards. You'd be crazy not to grab it while you can.
Origin's refund policy blows away Steam's. I have never had an issue with Origin. The deal does nothing for me thou. I already own Battlefield 3 & 4. After Borderlands, Battlefield is my favorite FPS.
