Gm pregen death

If a GM is forced to run a pregen and it dies, does he have to resolve the death? I know the GM always gains the sheet and player pregen deaths must be resolved when the sheet is applied, does this rule also apply to the GM?

Nope. Just toss it down the drain and use the hook machine to get another clone out of the vats.

No, it's not actually the GM's character so he is not forced to resolve any conditions t picks up through the scenario (like death). It's just there to make a legal table.

Edit: Ninja'd

The GM gets credit regardless of whether a pregen is used or not.

When a GM "runs a pregen" it has no bearing on anything credit-wise.

lol.. I read this firstly as GM death.

Yes if your gm dies at the table, you are pretty much stuffed. No Chronicle sheets for anyone and you wont get max gold.

I had this happen when I was running for a group that hadn't ever played tier 4-5. An Ebon Acolytus pinned and sacrificed the soul of Seelah to Lisalla. I was getting really excited when I had pinned the sorceror, but the party pulled through and destroyed my murder robot.

Also note: the GM does not have to take character credit for the adventure. They can choose to wait and take it when they run the adventure again instead - or never take GM credit for it.

The pregen at a 3-player table is only to provide a 4th character for the adventuring group and doesn't count (ie no chronicle sheet) or get reported online.
