Where exactly is Dragonfall the dragon graveyard?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

The module only says its on the tallest mountain in Avistan. Has it ever been placed somewhere specific on the Inner Sea map?

It hasn't been placed anywhere and isn't likely to ever be. Among the early Pathfinder materials, this one is the least in-line with the rest of the world we ended up developing. That isn't to say you can't place it wherever you feel it makes the most sense in your world, but you're not likely to ever see Dragonfall mentioned in future Pathfinder material, much less placed in a specific spot on the map.

Is the rest of the early dragon stuff still canon? Such as McArtor's Pathfinder #4 article and the Dragons Revisited book.

That's a good question I wanna know too please.

I couldn't find it during a 60-second search, but I remember James Jacobs addressing this question. The dragon graveyard, along with many of the ideas in that dragon article from Pathfinder #4 were early ideas from the first few months of the Golarion campaign world that just didn't stick or didn't fit the vision of the rest of the world. They have been effectively retconned out. As typical for retcons in the Campaign Setting line, there won't be a specific callout. The outdated ideas just won't be mentioned anymore.

If you like the ideas and want to flesh them out in your home game, please do so! You just won't be getting official support for them.

For the current take on dragons, see the Pathfinder Campaign Setting Dragons Unleashed.

I still use it in my version of Golarion. It is a demiplane that can normally only be reached by dragons who know it's their time to die. They take a personal journey and at some time during the trip, the transition is made without concious effort by the dragon.

In my game, clerics of Apsu, Dahak, and Tiamat are the only ones who can travel to the plane via magic. There are a few artifacts that enable the trip.

To be honest? It isn't on Golarion at all; this module's take on dragon graveyards ended up being not the way we wanted to take dragons, and is more or less ret-conned away. Feel free to use it as you wish in your game, of course, but it certainly ISN'T located on the tallest mountain in Avistan, since that mountain is Mhar Massif, and we've actually detailed that location quite a lot and it's got other things going on there.

It won't be officially located, in any event, so you're free to put it wherever you want.

Oh is that the one with the old one buried underneath?
