Caster Level and Multiclass spell casters.

I'm playing a level 4 Magus/1 Bard in the Carrion Crown campaign. Just took the Bard level. Is my CL 5? Does it depend on the spell I am casting? So Cure Light wounds would be a d8+1 but Burning Hands would be 4d4? Both are spells but not on the same spell list.

Your Bard caster level is 1, and your Magus Caster level is 4, so 1d8+1 and 4d4, respectively. BAB stacks between classes, but Caster level does not.
