Ok, so first, some background information. Last night my WotR group was playing through the Keep of Drezen, and reached Staunton Vhane. Staunton attacked us from the rear while we were otherwise engaged, taking our Oracle and Archery Style Ranger by surprise, unprotected. Vhane was able to drop our Oracle into negatives with a full attack, so I (a Paladin) and our Inquisitor moved to help the Ranger while our Cleric and Druid mopped up the encounter we had been on. I was already low on hp, and Vhane dropped me with a full attack as well when his turn came up again.
It had been a running joke that my character had a luxurious golden beard that we called the "Beard of Justice", so when I went down, the GM couldn't help joking that my beard had been shorn off by Staunton's attack. At this point, the GM started writing verses describing each round as it went by, until the end of the encounter. After some editing, what follows was the result! Enjoy!
THE PLAYERS:
Tobias - Human Paladin of Sarenrae
Sylvia - Elf Ranger, close friend of Tobias parents and a surrogate mother to both Tobias and Jaxith
Mordrek - Tiefling Druid, saved by Tobias from corrupt inquisitors of Iomedae's church
Jaxith - Human Inquisitor of Sarenrae, Tobias' blood brother
Irizanti - Aasimar Cleric of Sarenrae, a priest from Qadira who served at the temple Jaxith and Tobias attended in Kenabres
Sitara - Changeling Oracle, Tobias' childhood friend. Everyone thinks they're lovers, but they're not.
Staunton Vhane - Dwarf Antipaladin, a vile villain!
THE BALLAD OF THE BEARDS
♫The brave Sir Tobias in Drezen’s keep
did clash with fearsome Vhane,
but in the brawl, the Knight did fall,
his golden beard was slain. ♪
♫The elf-maid Sylvia, swift of foot,
leapt back from her ally's undoer,
and grim of face, with elven grace,
Vhane with arrows skewered. ♪
♫Mordrek the Pariah, with blazing eyes,
came to Tobias' aid,
declaring now, in sacred vow,
Vhanes blood would soon be paid. ♪
♫With Nature's Wrath and a cry of rage,
Mordrek shape did change,
And as a mighty Allosaurus
Did topple Staunton Vhane. ♪
♫Jaxith the Mad, Tobias’ brother,
while drinking a potion did rise,
his face alit with gleeful spirit
and murder in his cries. ♪
♫ Irizanti-Now-Wise of the angel’s line
saw the plight of his friends,
and by will of Dawnflower, called on her power
and grievous wounds did cleanse. ♪
♫ Tobias' love, the beauty Sitara
to her dear one's side did fall,
and clutching him to her breast,
banished deathly pall. ♪
♫ Vhane of the Beard Tyrannical,
struggled all he might,
but the fearsome grip of Mordrek,
he was unable to fight. ♪
♫ Noble Sir Tobias rose,
Ulfen fire in his eyes,
'FOR JUSTICE, FOR HONOR!" he proudly crowed,
the halls echoed his cries. ♪
♫ Wide of eye, Staunton stared
he knew what lay in store.
Sir Tobias swang, and Radiance rang,
Vhane's head fell to the floor. ♪
♫ There you have it, the tale is told,
the Beard of Tyranny lay tattered,
and with that final mighty blow,
the defenses of Drezen were shattered. ♪
What a wonderful, glorious story!
I really like the sound of that Sylvia lady. She seems pretty dang awesome, not gonna lie.

Good sir can you please help me with ballads, it is told that there is one ballad, popularily sung in kenabres, of a Mendevian Prince that found a "wound in the world" while exploring the fate of Sarkoris.
It is named the Ballad of Prince Zhakar. and is actually legitimate, but i lack the skills to write it :(
