Monsters of the Force

3.5/d20/OGL

I have been facinated with the concept of Force magic recently. To that end I have been looking for monsters that use Force energy or are made of Force.

So far I have found two.

The Force Dragon from ELH and the Force Golem from MM 5.

Am I missing anything in the other MM's? or PFRPG or any other 3rd party.

Obviously there is spell casters Arcane and Divine but I really want beasties to terrorise the world.

In the Midgard Bestiary for Pathfinder there is a construct creature called a Witchlight which is an energy filled floating crystal used as improved familiars. They do at will light rays of force damage up to 30'.

In Monster Geographica Underground there are chitinous battlemounts, drow companion spider and beetles turned into undead war machines after they die that shoot out magical force blasts.

In Monster Manual II there is the spellgaunt, a magic eating spider that spins force webs.

Thats excellent will look into those resources, thanks very much.

There are also blast blast lizard's in Draconic Lore by Fantasy Flight Games. They have a cone of force blowhole breath weapon.

It also has null dragons that absorb spells resisted by their SR and expel them as cones of magical force.

In Monster Encyclopaedia 1 there are masked powers, ancient wild magic outsiders, if you remove their masks they must make an escalating DC fort save each round they are unmasked or explode for 16d6 force damage.

It also has revokers, lawful outsiders designed to stop overuse of conjurations. They turn spell effects into force explosions. Also sanctified defenders, lawful outsiders designed to protect temples from godless attackers, they use holy symbol shaped force as a ranged weapon.

In Strange Lands Lost Tribes of the Scarred Lands there are Mountain golems shaped like dragons that have a force breath weapon.
