Isger Fixer will not help you prevent an exploded firearm. You just need a wand of mending.
How can a gunslinger use a wand of mending?
What I'm looking for is a way to repair guns (not through gun smithing or quick clear). I'm playing a mysterious stranger and not having quick clear sucks. If I roll a 1 in combat I have to stop using that gun

Use Magic Device. A friendly caster. Either of the those along with a Cracked Purple Prism Ioun Stone.

At 5th level you'll be able to ignore a number of misfires/day equal to your Cha bonus. Before then it's a good idea to have a backup weapon. Gunslingers can use bows, have full BAB and usually a decent Dex. Or you can use a sling if you want to play up your Halfling heritage.

Thanks redward. To add to the confusion I am playing a ninja/trench fighter so only 1 lvl dip of MS. Trying to do the whole Assassins Creed Cptn Kenway thing in a skulls/shackles campaign. It hard because as my dm said "kenway is a ninja, gunslinger, bard, fighter, ranger" [in the game].
Maybe I should move this to the advice section. Any suggestions PF masters out there?
