Will everyone be able to get their characters submitted by the 5:00pm EST deadline, or do I need to extend it by a few hours? I want to make sure everyone is able to submit a complete character that I can fairly judge with the party. I can't, however, extend it past today as it is a game in progress that has been halted, and I don't want to take away from the group any more than I have to.

Interesting. I think Gillmen in general have slavery built into their backstories (like halflings). Nalgi would be happy to welcome aboard another of his race (it's one of his life missions to free them Rom slavery). We might want to work something out for abeloths however.
Nalgi, I'd love to hear further on your thoughts on that. Too much? Maybe change to someone else?
Preliminary background up, Crunch for both Mikhal and Tyranath are up. One thing to note I was having an issue getting the specific evolutions to output, so I will make a note of them, major thing is that his bite is reach of 10ft.
Again, apologies for the lateness of things. Did the background more in character as a means of a response to what he might say if they question him. Can flesh it out more with actual backstory and what not should he be chosen.

Ok. I have reviewed all characters, and wow, let me say, these are a lot better Han I expected. Some of you have great characters in other games, and I must say I'm flattered that you applied to mine. Really, this is my first pbp, and I didn't expect anyone to even WANT to play. I honestly, truly, wish I could take everyone, and I'm not just saying that because everyone does. As it is though, I could only pick three. (yes, the submissions were so good, I couldn't narrow it down to two!) Today, I would like to invite the following people:
Sunny: you have posted in character every post, and you are fun and intriguing. I want you to come on in, and be a scurvy pirate!
Noro Kasuri: excellent character, excellent backstory, and I'm pretty sure I lost out to your brother in a jade regent recruitment not too far back. Your roleplaying skills are top notch, and welcome to the Inauspicious Grin!
Alistair Sinclair: Honestly, your character is going to be awesome to see develop and interact with less... honorable sea dogs on the Grin. I like the backstory, and I like the directions this guy can go. Welcome aboard, and dunt be gettin' yer self too much bothered what with tha excessive lootin' an' pillagin', ya hear?
Again, everyone was awesome. I am truly honored that you applied, and if I ever run another table for anything, you guys have a first shot! Good luck in your future adventures, but I have a feeling you won't need it!
