On PFS rerolls and aliases

Pathfinder Society

I'm hoping to create a new PC to replace a first level PFS character I used here on the boards. Is it possible to create a new alias that would use that same PFS number? Is it possible to rename an existing alias with more than ten posts? Otherwise is there anyway to transfer the credit of Young Harrol (# 84608-1) to a new alias?

Cheers!

Oops! Thanks, Sara. :)

Still hoping on a response here. One last tentative bump.

You can rebuild anything about your character until you play it at 2nd level: name, race, etc. After making second level (and playing the character as such) you'll need to utilize the rebuild rules from Ultimate Campaign as indicated by the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

Now, as to changing the character so that your dash-one can display a different name... I haven't posted ten posts as any of my characters, so I went to my characters and edited the name of one of them and it worked.

You'll see the edit button off to the right side of the character, edit the name to what you want and hit save below. Since you call out the posting number, you can try it to see if that still works for your ten post dash-one and let us know how it goes.

You can't change the name of an alias after ten post, nor can you transfer credit. That credit has already been applied to that PC. (-1)

For RL games, just change the name of your PC and explain to the GM that when he reports, there'll be a different name that comes up.

For PbP games, you can create a seperate alias (not Pathfinder Society alias) and use that one, explaing to the GM as well.

Thanks, folks. Having posted two sessions worth of posts with him I'm thinking the non PFS alias is my best option. Thanks again!
