Good NPC interactions with Good Nagaji PC

Advice

Hey,

In my campaign, I've got 5 PC's. One of them, is a Magus Najaji by the name of Eccleston.

So I've got a magic and weapon wielding snake man, sauntering about the mostly human town of Sandpoint. Which I've realized, is not a normal occurrence to the good people.

So I'll be making the NPC's and shopkeeps, far more hostile and unwilling to deal with this Monster race character. particularly Xenophobic NPC's will even hike their prices until he roleplay's them to a normal attitude.

By hostile, I mean most will be unwilling to speak with him. Not the "grab your torch and pitchfork" hostile.

Is this a correct approach to the Human (90%), Elven (8%) town of Sandpoint?

Well if this is rise of the runelords I had a catfolk in the party but after there heroics there wan not really a problem.
