Two people using Mage hand

Advice

Ok so I am a summoner and I am just wondering what would happen if I used Mage hand on something and then so does my eidolon, does the limit go to 10 pounds or can I not do it.

Also I was wondering what would happen say if I wrapped my whip around a enemy and used Mage hand on the whip, would it lift the enemy or not

Thank you for your help.

And sorry I added this to advice, I'm new

Spell effects don't stack unless they specifically say they do.

So no, a ten pound item is still ten pounds no matter how many magey hands are straining to pick it up

Ok Thankyou, do you know anything about the whip question

Target one non-magical, unattended object weighing up to 5 lbs.

a 10lb object is an invalid target, regardless of how many casters are attempting to target it.

As to the Whip question, that's a hard no. First, the whip isn't considered unattended, as it's wrapped around a wriggling, struggling creature. At best, you could lift the whip, and leave the creature on the ground, unaffected, but really, the whip shouldn't be a valid target anyway.

0-level spells should never be able to replicate higher-level spells, even with loop holes. In this case, you're replicating the Telekinesis Spell. Mage Hand is intended to be used to retrieve small objects like keys through prison bars, or a roll of parchment out of a well.

Thanks for clarifying, do you know if summoners can learn telekinesis or not

You're welcome. Telekinesis is unfortunately a Sorcerer-/Wizard-exclusive spell. The only method I know of that they could use Telekinesis is through a Scroll. There may be Magic Items that can use it, but I don't know any off-hand.

It's also unclear if an object held by mage hand counts as attended. So, a second cast of mage hand may not be able to target it.
