I heard dragons sit on piles of gold.

I mean, you'll have to remove the dragon. Or at least remove the gold without it noticing.

Good luck!

Haha I wish I was that goodXD

I'm just thinking about in downtime are there any ways to make some extra gold.

Also, does anyone know what type of things I could do in downtime apart from just resting to Regain hp

For pre-made magic items in the books, their crafting cost is listed. Usually at the bottom, under Construction.

A magic item can be crafted for half price. So if it normally costs 2000 gp, you can graft it for 1000 gp.
Note, it is only usually half price. If one of the prerequisite spells has an expensive component, that component cost isn't halved. Look at the various stat-boosting tomes for example.

Thank you for clarifying

Thanks everyone!:)

The Base Price of a Cloak of Resistance +1 is 1000gp, the standard shop price listed in the magic items table. The crafting cost is half the base cost, 500gp in this case.

Thanks! So say materials cost around 50 gold would the price to make a cloak of resistance +1 be 550gp

So I was looking into magic items and I am very confused about how much it costs to make them. Could someone please explain this to me? I am mostly confused as to do you have to pay a minimum amount to make magic items or is it just the cost of all the materials etc.

Hi everyone, I would like to Thankyou all for your help.

I like this website and it is helping me with all my queries, although some people can be mean most people are wonderful

Thanks for all your help

Asks if he can do it. Gets told no. Ignores what people say and does it anyway. What.

Sorry if this isn't helping, I just don't understand why someone would ask a question to clarify rules then deny what everyone else says anyway.

This isn't even a "maybe sorta could be taken that way". The conductive text explicitly states that it channels supernatural or spell-like abilities. Weapon enchantments are NOT supernatural or spell-like abilities.

Well SORRRRY.

I was just thinking that if you need to use spells in the enchantment then it would count as a spell-like ability, because you know, it is "spell-like" as in it is like a spell. And I also just thought that since to use the glove weapon you would need to touch them it would count.

I am not denying what everyone else said, I am listening to what they said and I tried to come up with a different idea. I was taking what they said into consideration and thinking about it.

THANKYOU FOR YOUR HELP EVERYONE!!!

Ps sorry if I sounded rude reverie

You could also geat the Throw Anything feat, and Returning weapon ability and throw your gloves to do that fire damage. That would be kind of funny. You could even ask your GM if you could throw them as if they could fly off your hand and return to your hand.

That would be pretty cool

Thank you for your advice everyone! I am very new to pathfinder and I am exploring what my character can do. Thanks again!

Ok. thanks for the help! i was thinking of just getting the cheapest gloves I can and try doing it on that.

What would you think if I had the flaming ability on a glove. I feel it would be very useful; I could start fires, do extra damage when I punch and also look super cool. And maybe later on I could try and add stuff and make fire balls in my hands?

Hi guys, so I want to make a whip with the magic ability of shock but for the construction part of the weapon I need your help. It says I need rather call lightning or thunder bolt to make this magic weapon but I can't use any of those spells (I am a summoner by the way) so I was wondering if I could use a scroll with one of the spells instead.

Thanks for the help

If it won't work for a shocking spiked gauntlet, why would it work for a "shock glove"?

I don't know what you are referring to. I have changed my mined anyway, I am going to put the shock enchantment on my whip and a flaming enchantment on he glove

"A conductive weapon is able to channel the energy of a spell-like or supernatural ability that relies on a melee or ranged touch attack"

No

It it would be the energy of a spell like ability

So if I put the shock effect on a glove and make it a magic item could I use that instead of a spell on my conductive whip

Ok so I am new to path finder and I know I definitely can't afford it yet but I was wondering that if I was to add the conductive enhancement to a whip and the shock enhancement to a glove would I be able to electrify the whip without using one of my spells per day. And would I also be able to use he glove and just touch people and do the 1D6 of damage and it electrifys them.

Target one non-magical, unattended object weighing up to 5 lbs.

a 10lb object is an invalid target, regardless of how many casters are attempting to target it.

As to the Whip question, that's a hard no. First, the whip isn't considered unattended, as it's wrapped around a wriggling, struggling creature. At best, you could lift the whip, and leave the creature on the ground, unaffected, but really, the whip shouldn't be a valid target anyway.

0-level spells should never be able to replicate higher-level spells, even with loop holes. In this case, you're replicating the Telekinesis Spell. Mage Hand is intended to be used to retrieve small objects like keys through prison bars, or a roll of parchment out of a well.

Thanks for clarifying, do you know if summoners can learn telekinesis or not

Spell effects don't stack unless they specifically say they do.

So no, a ten pound item is still ten pounds no matter how many magey hands are straining to pick it up

Ok Thankyou, do you know anything about the whip question

Ok so I am a summoner and I am just wondering what would happen if I used Mage hand on something and then so does my eidolon, does the limit go to 10 pounds or can I not do it.

Also I was wondering what would happen say if I wrapped my whip around a enemy and used Mage hand on the whip, would it lift the enemy or not

Thank you for your help.

And sorry I added this to advice, I'm new
