Linguistic and racial languages.

Rules Questions

Maybe it's a silly question, and I didn't find anything against that, but I want to be sure.
When you choose a race, the entry says:
"Languages: [RACE] begin play speaking Common and [RACIAL]. [RACE] with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: [LANGUAGES LIST]. See the Linguistics skill page for more information about these languages."

Now, if I add a rank in Linguistic skill, can I choose even languages that are not listed under [LANGUAGES LIST] entry?
For example, Elves can choose among Celestial, Draconic, Gnoll, Gnome, Goblin, Orc, and Sylvan. If they add a rank on Linguistic, can they choose, let's say, Giant language?

I didn't find anything against that in the Linguistic rules, nor in any part of the rules, so maybe I'd missed it or simply it's allowed.
Thanks for any clarification.

Yes, with a rank in linguistics you can learn any language no matter what you can choose as racial bonus languages, as long as it isn't a secret language (such as Drow sign language and Druid).
