So, as many know, the base rogue is a rather... underwhelming class. So the question is, which of it's archetypes help it out? For this discussion I would say that it would be fair to include 3PP archetypes, but to specifically tell people it is a 3PP.
Personally I like:
Street Magician from Drop Dead Studios as an interesting, slightly magical but not full magic character [3PP]
Pet Trainer for the scouting type by having a falcon or rat animal companion [3PP]
Carnivalist For some rediculous fun with familiars.
Knife Master for damage output
I like the Charlatan myself, he makes for a very good social character!
