I'm frothing at the mouth to see everyone's submissions. Is it Tuesday, yet?

I think the voters are going to have a hard time deciding between the proposals.

Someone knock me out for 24 hours. The wait is excruciating!

I can't wait to read these results! I wish it was louder on this forum, because I AM EXCITED! You all definitely deserve some congratulations right at 2pm tomorrow!
Also, I'd love to join in on some kind of critique group. At some point during this competition, I went from "golly, publishing sure sounds nice!" to "by the beard of Odin, I will publish or else." I'll definitely also be joining in on some of the work here on the boards over the next year.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the submissions tomorrow as well. Considering the quality of the previous rounds, I expect to be very impressed.
Also, I would appreciate an invitation to the Freelance Forge. And thank you for setting that up.

Hi there, I'd be interested in the freelance group, as well. Thanks!
I'd be up for a critique group too.
I just sent invites to Anthony, Sam, and Joseph via PM.
Although I will be in "radio silence" mode while public voting is open for Round 4, please feel free to post here or PM me if you want an invite.
Freelance Forge is up to just over a dozen members now and I'm not sure when (or if) we'll close things off. We are discussing the scope of the forums and it's looking like we will have a larger "open" advice/feedback forum and several smaller (even more private) critique forums as needed.
Count me in for the freelance group.
I'd be interested in Freelance Forge too. Getting under the hood with some serious design work sounds like an excellent endeavor.
Less than 4 hours left! Wow, usually the waiting has been more painful. I guess I should be thankful I have to work overtime... :D
Good luck to the other three. :)
I'll probably be as quiet as possible here once the voting begins, but anyone feel free to send me a pm, or chat @ the Freelance Forge.
Invites sent to James and Brian.
I'm not nervous yet, but it usually kicks in around noon... then I'll be anxious until voting is over!
I'm in a glass case of emotion.
I'm certain that all four of you have created awesome concepts for modules, so stop worrying about it. Goodness, the hard part here will be winning, because then you're on the hook to actually produce your module!
On the plus side, the rest of us can know that four excellent designers won't be in the Wondrous Item round of competition next year, thus making things a little easier for the rest of us!
One hour remaining.
I've been upgraded to an ice tomb hex of emotion.

Alrighty then, I read them all, I read the Judges comments, and several other reviewers comments.
How interesting that with all of the places one could choose we end up with two in Cheliax and two in Lastwall. Kudos to that actually, I think those are excellent choices.
My biggest problem with the module proposals was the complete lack of a grymp, especially given that two of you used Cheliax!
Seriously though, they were all great, but unfortunately I can vote for just one, and I know who I'm voting for.
Urban adventures aren't my favorite, but I think all four of yours would be fun to play.
What excites me even more is that I think in some form all of them could be pared down a bit and turned into PFS modules, which three of you will have the chance to do, or I guess you could make something completely different. And I do SERIOUSLY hope that the three of you who don't win do choose to write PFS modules, because I'd be sure and play them, whereas I can't promise that I'll play the winner's module.
Best of luck to all four of you!
Question for the rest of the To 16 this year.
When you submitted your ideas to JJ, did he bounce back to anyone with anything other than "Submission approved; have fun and good luck!" which is a cut and paste from my email back from him?
I'm interested in knowing if he scrubbed or scratched any ideas completely?

I got an "Accepted... with reservations". It turned out I was planning on using a monster that would be featured heavily in an upcoming AP, but I could easily have replaced it in my pitch.

Add me to the list of writers looking for feedback, support, and networking opportunities to hopeful break through as a freelance writer. I'd love to have a place to share work for feedback, and to provide constructive criticism for others looking to improve. Writing groups are a great way to hone our skills.
Ohhh, just over 6 hours! It feels like our own little version of the Oscars!
Remember you're supposed to thank everyone and their mother, and your mother, and SKR. You're suspect to act humble, yet proud. You're supposed to have a prepared speech, and yet act surprised that you won!
In the end, you're all winners! Because three of you can write PFS scenarios if you choose, and I encourage you to do so!
I am my nervous butterflies.
How to speech. I mean speak. What words?
Mike's ability to form coherent sentences will return after this regularly scheduled Tuesday of RPG Superstar Doom.
Knowing that the voters are more likely to follow the judges' recommendations than not, I don't really have to worry about winning or losing. :P
Making the top 4 is a great success, much much better than what I thought I'd achieve when I was waiting for R1 results on the 21st of January. :)

Keep in mind, that while we'll know the winner today, in some ways Superstar isn't really over for the rest of us.
Since they'll now include some previous monsters and/or magic items from the contest, all of us could still have something show up in the module, though it's probably another long, anxious wait until we find out if we made that cut. Just something to look forward to. :)
Congratulations Victoria!

For those of you still waiting for your item review, I will get to them soon, I'm just a bit snowed under right now with a looming Wayfinder deadline on top of everything else >.<
I will continue through them all as I can, so keep popping back once a week.
I made a recruitment thread for a Top 32 PBP.

Familiar's Soulstone is up - next will be Amulet of Reverse Incantation
Well Mike's PBP group is full. Is anyone else willing to GM a RPGSS PBP? I know there are some others that also missed out on Mike's game.
Tyler Beck and James Casey, one player has stepped out of the Doom Comes to Dustpawn game, and you two are next on the list. Let me know if you're still interested. I could take both of you (and then that's it... for real...!)
I am in Mike, I will post a character tonight.
Any word on when the Blazing 9 thread will start??
We were thinking of starting it Tuesday.
I plan on cutting through items like a vorpal sword in a hydra cave. Bring 'em on!

Looking forward to your review!

Death Mask is next... Thanks, Anthony! Really good observations all around. I like many of the suggested additions/changes, such as the riffing car shuffle sound!
*card shuffle, I mean, not car :D

Glad you found it useful.
Rise from the ashes like the great phoenix you are oh guildhall!
This is the 2014 guildhall. The upcoming 2015 batch will deserve their own, new-made place, without all this peeling paint and odd stains on the floor. (And maybe some freshly-applied filigree.)
