With a council of 117 members, is there any information on what noble families there are besides the 8 or 9 on the wiki? How about extended members of those families?

One of my players is making a character running from Magnimar after intentionally embarrassing a 'noble' in public and I was would like to know what is out there before I start going nuts adding new noble families or just adding family members to existing ones.

Are any of those besides the Scarnetti Family clearly lacking in... higher morals?

Many are lacking in... higher morals.

There are the Deherexi family from the Robin Laws stories. (Blood of the City novel and the web short story In the Event of my Untimely Demise.)

The novel (blood of the city) named several other noble houses as I remember.

OH I found a list of several for you.

Each should have an entry (however small) in the wiki.

It does, I'll have to find the novel... But I saw the wiki, so I saw all of those names.

Fourteen noble families are noted in the wiki, and believe me, that's all that have been mentioned so far in canon literature. If you need more, why not just make up a few?

I intend to now, I just wanted to know what was out there first.

Wow, old thread! I'm glad this is here. We are starting Rise of the Runelords, and someone wanted their character to come from Magnimar. The events of Blood of the City will be considered historical, and the father of the PC is a cousin of Luma.

An oldie but a goodie. Remember also that the standpoint noble houses are magnimarian too.
