Is a ninja any good?

Kingmaker

Hey there forum people. I'll be playing this AP soon and I was thinking of playing a ninja built towards stealth, infiltration and quick death. But I was wondering how useful a ninja would be, since I've heard rogues aren't the greatest choice for this AP.

The main thing rogues don't get to do in Kingmaker is their traps and locks schtick. There aren't many dungeons, and therefore there aren't many locked doors or chests to open or traps to disarm. A stealthy assassin is very useful, especially if you have a party member you're guaranteed to be able to flank with on a regular basis.

My party's frontline consists of a Scout archetype Rogue and a Ninja. Both of them exchange the rogue abilities you won't need much in the AP for more combat effectiveness, and both seem to work about equally well.

Thank you both.
