I save many (or all) of the items that come up in voting, and I know some of you all do as well, so as a distraction, here's how I'm saving items:
- In Firefox, I select the item, right-click, pick View Selection Source, and copy the HTML.
- I dump the HTML into an HTML-to-BBCode converter.
- I copy the generated BBCode to a keep, reject, or further review file, depending on what I want to do with that item. (For me, the further review file is for items I'll keep an eye out for in the post-RPGSS critique thread.)
Once I get on a roll, it's all doable within the minute it takes for the buttons to unlock.
Does anyone have a better HTML-to-BBCode solution? Maybe a bookmarklet that converts selected text to BBCode? Or maybe a notable item-archiving solution of their own?

I'm much too lazy to preserve the HTML.
For me, it's just Control-A, Control-C, tab, Control-V. Rinse and repeat.
Afterwards, I'll run the resulting text file through a file editor to chop out the redundant, non-item text I'm catching in my copy-pasta. Aside from the file editor pass at the end, my text-only archiving is averaging a grand total of 3 seconds per vote.

I'm trying to keep a tally and archive this year as well. Like Eric, Not bothering with HTML, just copying the text into a word doc. Also this year keeping a spreadsheet record so I can have an easier list of item names, pairings, votes and # of appearances. (And keep a track of pre and post cull items, when such happens. Didn't think to do so last year.)
I don't have anywhere near as much time as I did to vote last year, so in the end I probably won't have as near-complete a list as I did in 2013, but hopefully I'll be able to help fill in some gaps again.
