So a pretty basic question here but I have not seen a clear answer anywhere I do believe but...With the progression that my group has done from the beginning to getting to the end of the hook claw...what will happen to our previous skill and power feats that we have gained once we pick our role card?
For example I am harsk and have wisdom, dex, hand size now at 5, and add a d4+2 to someone else location with a recharge effect. Will these buffs go away when I pick a role or stay on to now be checked off on my new role card?
If so I feel like I would like to make a house rule to re pick because progression seems pointless a bit up to that point to be reset to just get an additional ability, I.E. harsk now having devine under wisdom, and to wipe out your stat boosts and what not.
Thanks for future answers!

Your role card is designed to be placed directly over the Powers section of your character card. When you first get the role card, check any boxes for the role you’ve chosen that match boxes you’ve already checked on your character card. For example, if the “Light Armors” box was checked on your character card, check the “Light Armors” box on your role card.

Is this true even if the check box on the role card is no longer the first checkbox? For example, Balazar's character has a power,
"(_ or add 1d4 to any check to defeat a barrier)."
This is the first checkbox in its section. However, on the Eidolomancer Role card this power is the second checkbox in its section.
Is it correct to transfer this power over, checking the second checkbox, and leaving the first checkbox unchecked?

The boxes you should check on your role are the boxes that are next to the same set of words on your character card. They don't match by being first, they match by giving you the same ability. So, if you had taken "[]or add 1d4 to any check to defeat a barrier" on Balazar, you'd find that same phrase on his Eidolomancer role and check the box in front of it.
