Also, when can Runeloard Alderpash close a location? Is there a FAQ or discussion thread elsewhere that might clarify when I can use this ally to close a location?

Regards,
Rob

If you do not acquire this ally each character is dealt damage. Does this mean damage is dealt to each character at the location where the encounter occurred or to all characters at any location?

Cheers,
Rob

With respect to Ivory Labyrinth, what do you do if the monster you encounter is a henchmen and you defeat it. Do you still get to close the location or do you have to move to Blackthorn without attempting to close the location? If you are allowed to close the location the On Closing rule it says to move to a random location.

I presume the On Closing rule takes precedence over the when you encounter a bane rule.

Can Balazar acquire the Mist Horror?

Thanks. Yes, I just noticed the text on the villain. Got it.

OK, so how are they added to the game? I'm about to start the scenario Nocticula's Attention and I see they are used, but can't find any explanation how they are added to the scenario.

When playing adventure deck 4 are the Blessings of Nocticula added to the blessing desk or added to the loot deck?

One power states: When a character plays a blessing on your Strength check, you may add 1d12 instead of the normal die.

So if a character plays a Blessing of Shax (which adds 2 die to a strength check) on Balazar's strength check does this mean he gets an additional 1d12 or 2d12 on his check?

My character started her turn at the Cavern. The Cavern had previously been depleted of cards but was not closed, so on her turn she closed the location and moved to a random other location as directed by the "When Permanently Closed" rule. My question is can she now use her first free exploration at the new location or did she have to expend it before closing the Cavern?

Regard,
TiSfido

The power on the card that begins with, "If a character does not defeat this barrier," ends with the phrase, "and she may not play cards or use powers against this barrier until the end of the turn."

Does this ending "and" clause only take affect if your fail to defeat the barrier or even on the initial check to defeat it?

In the scenario, "The Abyss Gazes Also", Balazar defeated a non-henchmen, non-villain monster at the location without the Abyssal trait. Does Balazar get to keep the monster or must he shuffle it into a location with the Abyssal trait?

Yup, rather obvious. Not sure what I was thinking.

Thanks,
TiSfido

Is this true even if the check box on the role card is no longer the first checkbox? For example, Balazar's character has a power,

"(_ or add 1d4 to any check to defeat a barrier)."

This is the first checkbox in its section. However, on the Eidolomancer Role card this power is the second checkbox in its section.

Is it correct to transfer this power over, checking the second checkbox, and leaving the first checkbox unchecked?

Hi All,
I'm trying to understand if the following is legal. At the start of Adowyn's turn, can she display Leryn to search her current location, see that a barrier is on top, then move to another location? Just trying to understand the timing of the display. Can it happen on another character's turn? At the beginning of Adowyn's turn before her move step?

Thanks,
Rob

If my character starts her turn at some location other than the Guardpost, but immediately moves to the Guardpost does she have to encounter the Corrupted Soldier? Or has the start of her turn already passed.

Regards,
Rob

Hello All,
I ran into an interesting situation today playing WotR and am looking for some clarification. Balazar, with Padrig displayed, encountered and defeated a monster at the Cemetery and thus gets to put it in his hand. Monsters here gain the Undead trait. Does this monster retain the Undead trait if used in a subsequent encounter with another monster?

Best Regard,

Hi, I ordered the RotR Errata Deck but it is missing the 5th copy of the Blessing of the Gods card. Per Vic's Wertz's request I am contacting you to send me a copy of the missing card. What are the next steps?

Best Regards,
Rob Bugh

Pre Vic's advice:
We fixed this with DriveThru; orders for the BotG set placed after the morning of Wednesday, March 12 include the 5th copy of Blessing of the Gods C. If you placed your order before that, contact our customer service department, and we'll send you a copy from a 2nd printing Add-On Deck.

Should the weapon "Icy Longspear +1" have the Cold trait?
