I am in and entered, some undisclosed time ago.
I have been thinking on this for a while now, and am going to make a once per entrant offer.
It goes like this...
I will accept PRIVATE MESSAGES to my private mailbox on this site only, containing your entry pasted into the body text of the PRIVATE MESSAGE inclusive of all format code and the name of your item in the PRIVATE MESSAGE subject line. You may send me ONE and only ONE item for this competition and it will be looked at and reviewed ONCE. So choose your item wisely.
(click my name above, then click my real name, then you should see on that profile page a Private Message link)
I will review your template use, nothing else, just your entry formatting and board encoding to help you get that right. You will get one reply, listing any problems I find with your formatting. You will have to fix them.
I will not comment on the design, the item, the coolness, pricing or anything else, just the template execution. This is a technical review on how you have applied the competition format requested.
If you do this and are a participant of this years Blazing 9 thread, you go to the front of the queue and will get the full blown review as promised in the Blazing 9 thread, otherwise items received will be reviewed in the order in which they were received... so there is likely to be lag between you sending your item and me replying with your review.
Also, to simulate the brutality and fun ahead, I will employ a word count check as the first step of the template review. If you are over word count, you will not get a review of your template use, just a simple response saying "Auto Rejected for Word Count" - so you don't keep waiting.
This is a totally open offer to all entrants, it's up to you if you avail yourself of it.
I will probably be able to review about 20-50 items per day with my free time I have, so if you don't get a response, no need to resend it, I will get there eventually.
The last date by which you can post me an item for review is midnight 20th December - leaving me about a working week to catch up with everyone. (If I have run out of items to review by this time, I may extend that date a little, but I need to be careful of not getting overwhelmed).
I will treat everyone who sends an item for this review in the strictest confidence at all times.

To avoid any confusion or mistakes:
Use the PRIVATE MESSAGE functionality, do not use the FORM on the Paizo website.

Oh, I don't know. I got to adopt a rather Bond Villain-eaque attitude late in last year's voting.
"Ah, my old nemesis. You have returned. And I see that this time you were wise enough not to appear alongside the quicksand cloak or one of your other betters. Indeed, your friend here seems to be in many ways inferior to you. It even says 'wonderous item'. I suppose you think that at last, you shall escape my wrath. But NO, I say! You opponent here is new to me, but you have raised my ire for far too long! I PRESS THE BUTTON OF DEATH AT YOU, and know that the quality of my sheer contempt for you in increased by the fact that I have called this shoddy item to your left 'superior'.

LOL - I reviewed one of the Blazing 9 participants recently. They replied saying their bottom is stinging :P and Template Fu is getting fat without needing to vote ;)
