Not that late! I think they get it around level 8 (if my memory serves) which, in playtest, was pretty balanced.
Hmm, going to have to disagree on this as my group usually starts to encounter critters with the specified dr well before level 8. Oh well, I can always take Eldritch Claws if need be and retrain.
If you wanted to post a quick review up in the main product thread, I would not complain! :)
I will post a quick review once I am done reading the entirety of the book.:)
Cheers
Volf

Yep, I didn't do the kickstarter (all my money was doing Starfinder right then), I pre-orederd, so I know it will take a few days. Wasn't complaining - just excited. :)
I think all preorders now have PDFs in the My Account -> Downloads section of the Kobold Store. If not, give the shipping folks a shout, we'll get you the file for sure!

A question about the Priest. It looks like they are built on the "wizard/sorcerer" framework (1/2 BAB, etc.) but with the Cleric/Oracle spell list. In comparison to a straight Cleric, in exchange for stepping down the less martial track, they gain...an extra domain, with attendant powers?
My concern here is that wizard/sorcerers have a spell list with spells that (by design) do more damage than the cleric/oracle list. It seems that if the Priest is meant to be a "divine wizard" there should be some extra damage capability baked in there somewhere.
Or did I miss something?

An extra domain, other daily-use abilities (divine gift - divine surge and smiting burst help with damage-dealing), slightly more skill points and arcanist-but-not-slower-spell-progression casting, in exchange for 1/2 BAB, d6 hit die, slower channel energy progression and slightly less spells/day from level 3 onward (although the difference is entirely in domain spells, otherwise the priest has slightly more spells/day until level 20).

New Paths Compendium is the top product in the latest En World Paizo Third Party Publisher Roundup!
They even call out the Skin-Chamger:
"For those of you that were disappointed with the Shifter in Ultimate Wilderness, Kobold Press has a balm in the form of the skin-changer base class in the New Paths Compendium: Expanded Edition. Skin-changers are one of the five new classes included in the compendium, and are a full-BAB class that should scratch that shapeshifting warrior itch."

New review up in the main product thread!
Also happy to say the New Paths Compendium has been on Paizo's Top Ten Downloads From Other Companies list for the last three weeks, which is just awesome! :)
Quick FYI - we've addressed a couple small issues that have been reported - my understanding is that the revised PDF is now available for download :)
A free 1-page errata sheet should also be available sometime soon for download as well.

There is some *gorgeous* artwork in this book. Brian Syme, for example, rocks it.
I want 'Iconics' for many of these pictures!
Have to agree - I love the art in the book, and Bryan was my first choice to do most of it!
One of the later stretch goals actually was to stat out and do backgrounds for all 12 classes based on that art in fact. I'm working on them now in between other projects.

OH, I noticed something in the revised pdf that I missed before. The Dread Bolt Transmutations appear only on the Warlock chart one time, when they should probably be listed on it. The descriptive text explains they get a new one every 3 levels, so as long as one remembers that it's not a problem. But some folks might forget that without it being printed on the chart.
