Dawnflower Dervish and Dervish Dance

Advice

Liberty's Edge

I was looking at this Bard Archetype, and it says it gains Dervish Dance as a bonus feat. Does that mean I would gain the benefits of that feat without needing to have any of its listed prerequisites? Most other places where such feats are granted, the description will say explicitly that the prerequisites are not required, but not here. Just looking for confirmation, but I would think that the prerequisites are not required? Just trying to save myself from having to take a feat in Weapon Finesse.

Yes, one doesn't have to meet the prequisites in this case. It's the same thing with basic ranger and bonus feats from a fighting style

The RAI for any class granted bonus feat is you bypass prerequisites.

Liberty's Edge

I figured. Just wanted to be sure since I've usually seen it explicitly stated that this is the case. Thanks. :)

This was more of a rules question, but ok.

Admittedly, I've found that the dawnflower dervish is better off without dervish dance. The bonuses it gets from its altered inspire courage (only affects that bard, but its effects are doubled, so it gives +2 to +10 to attack and damage, making it similar to and eventually better than rage) actually works better with a TWF or archer build. It gives bonuses to each and every hit, so why not go with as many hits as possible at once? Between that and arcane strike you can easily give the fighter a run for his money in the DPR department.
