1001 Ideas for Non-Magical Alchemical Items

Homebrew and House Rules

So, Alchemy items.

I'm looking to create a list of feasible *nonmagical* Alchemy items that would be useful at higher levels, and could realistically work in the Pathfinder world.

This will obviously all be homebrew.

Credit goes to The Quite-big-but-not-BIG Bad for the idea to post a thread about this, and the thread title. Thanks!

Aw shucks, thanks :)

1) Smogstick: a smokestick that has been treated with slightly toxic chemicals, resulting in a cloud of noxious fumes. The effect is identical to that of a smokestick although characters that breathe in the smoke must make a DC 14 (?) Fortitude save or become nauseated for 1d3 rounds. Multiple smogsticks in the same square will not increase the concealment but each additional stick raises the Fortitude save by 1.
Craft DC: 25, cost: 100 gp

2) Shocking Bolas: a shocking bolas is essentially a pair of specifically treated bottles of bottled lightning, connected by a flexible copper wire. When thrown, the shocking bolas is treated like a bolas, although it immediately breaks after the first use. If it hits a target, the wire wraps around the limbs of the target and the bottles break, sending a strong current through the wire and the target. As a result, the target is subjected to the same effect as bottled lightning (1d8 points of electricity damage and 1 point of sonic damage). In addition, the target must make a DC 14 (?) Fortitude save or become paralyzed for 1d3 rounds. A critical miss with the Shocking Bolas will result in the user himself being subjected to these effects.
Craft DC 30, cost: 120 gp

(costs and DCs are kinda random, didn't really know how to determine them)

Here is something that I would love to see,not really an alchemical item but...:

Splash Weapon Dispenser
This tubular container has airtight compartments and is equipped with hydraulics.A dispenser can be filled with up to 10 splash weapons of any kind.Loading a single splash weapon into the dispenser is a full round action.Once filled the contained splash weapons can be retrieved one by one as a free action by pulling the lever at the bottom of the container.

Price:2500gp

That way you could finally make full attacks with splash weapons.

Ooh, I've been waiting for something like this.

3) Bladewater: This bottle of water has been alchemically treated with hundreds of small slivers of iron, causing it to cut those it strikes. This is a splash weapon that functions as a flask of alchemist's fire, albeit doing 1d8 slashing damage to a creature it hits directly and 1d2 slashing damage to every adjacent creature.
Craft DC: 25, cost: 60-90 gp

4) Steamoil: This is a small wooden can (approximately 1 inch diameter by two inch height) filled with a slick oil, fit for putting on the blade or point of a slashing and/or piercing weapon. When applied as a swift action, if the weapon if made of any type of metal, the oil reacts and begins to emit intense heat. For 1d4 rounds plus 1 round for every five by which the Craft DC was exceeded (assume storebought steamoil cans met the DC exactly unless otherwise stated), the weapon does 1d4 fire damage in addition to all normal damage.
Craft DC: 32, cost: 75-135 gp

In my game we've started using hypodermic arrows (1 gp each) so now your archer can drop your favorite alchemical item into an enemy!
