So the goal is a decent summoner, decent CC, one woman party.

PbP Game, PFS rules, and rulings, with minor exceptions for some traits.

So here is my thought.

Gnome

Level 1 (Cleric)

Str 6
Dex 14
Con 14
Int 8
Wis 11
Cha 20

Feat: Sacred Summons
Diety: Desna
Domains: Travel, Freedom
Speed: 30
Domain Spell: Expeditious Retreat
Spell: CLW

Level 2 (Oracle)

Mystery: Heavens
Curse: Tongues
Revelation: Awesome Display

Level 3 (Sorcerer)

Bloodline: Sylvan
Animal Companion: Roc
Feat: Boon Companion (Roc)

Bonuses:
Gnomes are light weight, can ride (unarmored) on a Roc at level 1. Low level highly maneuverability with flight.
Standard Action Summons for CG Creatures.
Tons of channels / day.
Almost all spells are class spells for purposes of wand use.

Cons:
Need to bump caster level for sorcerer via traits.
Always a lot of spell levels behind due to multi classing.

Insight/thoughts?

I think you're going overboard with the class dipping. You could just go a plain Summoner or Druid for plenty of summoning power. Essentially at the end of the day, your power comes from spells, not starting abilities.

Way too much dipping and, if you go straight cleric, you need a Hightower WIS than that.

I say a straight Summoner (since Master Summoner is cruelly and unfairly predjudiced against) who makes liberal use of Invisibility spells.

But honestly? What I'd recommend is a Summoner I played in Second Darkness - high Strength and Charisma, fought alongside his Eidolon with a Longspear until his Eidolon gained the Large evolution at which time he took 1 level of Dragoon and began to fight mounted. Probably the most powerful character I've ever made, and near as I can tell totally PFS legal (I've never played PFS).

IF that sounds like something you might be interested in, let me know, I'd be happy to help you put it together.

1 woman party, eh?
this might have less CC than you hoped for but here's my suggestion:

human [focused study], summoner (no archetype)
str 14; dex 14+2race; con 14; int 13; wis 10; cha 15 (put level 4 point here)
feats: 1- combat reflexes; h-skill focus[any knowledge]; 3-eldritch heritage [arcane] (take a familiar); 5-improved familiar (upgrade to air elemental); 7- evolved familiar [skilled- UMD] (upgrade to faerie or tide-pool dragon)
traits: armor expert, your choice
skills: mostly your choice- max UMD, and diplomacy and/or bluff (good for 1 woman party to avoid unnecessary combats); take at least 1 knowledge (to go with skill focus)

make your eidolon the 'party' tank/dps:
quadruped, with arms evolution- spend feat for falchion or greatsword prof. and keep # of nat. attacks maxed out; make sure Str is always as high as possible and take pounce! your nat attacks will count as 2ndary when paired with sword attacks but your total damage output should be great. get power attack and invest in str belt/magic weapon/amulet of mighty fists for your eidolon. (also rely on it for perception)

make your familiar the 'caster':
it will have a really solid UMD- give it wands for heals/buffs, and scrolls for some utility/CC spells. the dragons cast as sorcerers, so they won't even need to roll for some wands/scrolls.

for the actual summoner:
use a longspear. use your turn for spells or using wands/scrolls as needed (mostly healing/buffing eidolon, probably, but some CC or AoE as well), or for attacking along with the eidolon; you won't be nearly as effective in melee as the eidolon but you can add some extra damage (or use aid other if its having trouble hitting), and having reach & combat reflexes will get you a good number of AoOs (even on casting rounds) and deter some would-be attackers. buy yourself a mithril breastplate as soon as possible (your not proficient, but with armor expert there's 0 ACP, no it doesn't matter- and it counts as light armor so you have no ASF% in it).

With STR 6 you're Shadow-bait. At least with STR 7 you're guaranteed to survive one hit.

Thank you for the well thought out responses.

Taking them all together, I am now debating the different summoner types. I am wondering about taking a medium str, high cha, high dex, and weapon finesse if I can find a light reach weapon to rely on AoOs so I can reserve standard action for spells. . .

Everything with the Summoner and familiar as above, single fighter level dip gets Point Blank and Precise shot, buff yourself, buff your Eidolon, familiar caster, you archer.
