Experience gain for Eyes of The Ten

So, in reading the guide to organized play, I noticed that the backloaded experience takes a character up to 38xp. There are only 4 parts to eyes of the Ten. Is one of the scenarios worth 2 experience points or was there a misprint somewhere?

Yes I believe #1-46 Requem for the Red Raven is worth 2 xp.

Awesome, thank you for the rapid reply. That was confusing me

Part 1 of Eyes of the Ten is a double-length scenario. So it is worth 2 XP, and should take about 8 hours to run.

Or 17 hours for some...

I've been averaging 10 hours for part 1 with small groups able to do it in closer to 8 and groups of 6 taking closer to 11.

FWIW, Part 2 is 5-6 hours, Part 3 is usually 3-4 hours, Part 4 has been like 6-7 hours. But I've only run it 4 times, so the sample size isn't statistically significant. Yet.

Silly question, does that mean that PCs are 13th level for Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained? Or do they only receive xp at the end of the arc?

They are 13th level for the last two installments.

Heh. I've been averaging an hour less for each part (except Part 3), but I also tend to be a fast GM, so that may have something to do with it.

However, Part 4 can easily take really long. I've run a group of 6 through it in 5 hours, but when I played it, it took our group of 6 close to 8 hours.

Spoiler:
That first encounter becomes much harder when PvP mucks up the battle. And that was entirely my fault. On the plus side, I got to turn the witch into a bunny!

We played through all of Eyes in a single long weekend.

I think that by the end we had clocked 40 hours of play time. But that's 40 hours with tons of table talk, drinking, and non-plot-related roleplaying.
