Map links are in gameplay. I usually post them at the bottom of the combat order each round.
It is kind of like a ranged weapon that can't hit further than 15 feet...
You may attack anywhere within the 15 foot reach of your whip. You may use the Weapon Finesse feat even though it is not a light weapon.
Using the whip adjacent to an enemy provokes and AoO - as if it were a ranged weapon.
I guess I should have taken time to look at the numbers and things on your profiles.
Evrail and Anumil, you should be level 5.
I guess with my mixed recruitment thread, you saw the character creation rules for another game.
I feel like a dolt, but leveling up is better than down I guess.
with 2 extra BAB alone that last post is a hit Anumil.
Edit:err wait.. no they have 19AC so you would still miss by one.
M Elf Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) L5 | AC (22) 21 T16 FF16 (CMD22) | HP 50/50 | Saves F2 R7 W0 | Percep +6 | Init: +5 | Panache: 5/5 | Condition: A little drunk; and shaken.
You know, I did kind of wonder why some of the other PC's were Level 5, but I just thought they were in the middle of cutting down the character from another game.

And you had me at "Gain two levels."
Just finished the most time-consuming school projects I have left.
I will try to get the new map up tonight.
Feel free to roll initiatives, and take a single action in the meantime.
You are about 50 feet from the next gatehouse, the corner which you just rounded is 10 feet away, and will give total cover from the crossbowman.
Pretty good timing.
I had intended to make a post asking if anyone was still around.
Got behind in school, and I had a couch-surfer in my computer area.
I'm pretty caught up, and have regained command of my office... so I think I should be good now.
Background...
Schulfjarn became a settlement a few decades ago. It was formed by half-orcs driven out of their lands to the north by an orc and ogre army.
The local mayor of nearby Doyle's Run and inheritor of lumbermill, tree farm, and estate... donated the land and materials in return for a low-wage workforce.
The leader of Schulfjarn is a half-orc Hrulshaga. He has been a cult of personality for some time, and a proponent for half-orcs finding balance (not exactly peace) through becoming one with nature.
When the productivity of the workforce languished, the mayor of Doyle's Run built another settlement across the river. These were better living conditions which would be offered to those most productive and/or skilled.
As a result, West Schulfjarn is known for their craftsmanship of many finished products made from wood, while the more labor-intensive low-skilled work is done in East Schulfjarn.
Unfortunately, this situation has not bred a healthy society.
Fort Birch was built when unrest was becoming more than Hrulshaga could keep under control.
Something has happened recently... Fort Birch has fallen, and the less "civilized" of East Schulfjarn have taken control of the settlement.
How much of this you know, and how you came to be here (or heard of the recent troubles) is up to you.
Someone may have sought help from Schulfjarn, you may know Hrulshaga (he has always been supportive of half-orc "adventurers"), you might be from the area, or followed your chosen prey here (such as Gordrun ... ogres from the north have been spotted coming this way.)
Alrighty, now I'm just a humble half orc, but how are you flying? I've never seen a flying elf before!
Gee, rilly? Most people are more all'a ways talkin' about me bein' nekkid....
*Giggles*
Tech-ni-cality?
That be a sekrit fer tha' DM ta' be exoundin' on at their whim.
Though, ta' be puttin yer mind at rest,
So as not to ruin things:
Okay, Suny is actually naught but a 're-named' Aasimar. With a certain beginning trait/ background (Aasimar, 'Garuda blooded') one can have a character with functioning wings starting at 1st level.
The original idea for the character was almost a copy of Arabeth which I'm playing in another PbP.
Though for this character I've changed from an Oracle of Life to an Oracle Evangelist
The DM likes the personality of Suny and thought 'copying' her would add to the strangeness of the game he's running.
Sorry if people are concerned that things aren't entirely 'Koshir'. I'm sure the DM can add more information to reassure folks should they feel the need.
Please don't get annoyed if I don't play the class very effectively. Cleric is not a class I usually play and Evangelist is an archetype I've never played before.
