Can one use Snake Style while armed?

Rules Questions

would it be cheesy to interpret that one can?

show:

Prerequisite: Improved Unarmed Strike, Acrobatics 1 rank, Sense Motive 3 ranks.

Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus on Sense Motive checks, and you can deal piercing damage with your unarmed strikes. While using the Snake Style feat, when an opponent targets you with a melee or ranged attack, you can spend an immediate action to make a Sense Motive check. You can use the result as your AC or touch AC against that attack. You must be aware of the attack and not flat-footed.

Nope. You should really check other posts... this was just up a day or so ago, unless you happen to be that poster as well (I don't remember myself who started it.)

You can use the sense motive check for AC when armed with a weapon.

The further feats in the chain however specify unarmed strikes for their retaliatory AoOs.

I was very thankfull for your answer that day.
And I read It exactly that way. I was only hoping to get some more opinions to show my table buddy that it is not a cheesy gap in the system as he considers but broad agreement. I highly recognise your expertise in that matter since I studied some of your threads and answers. I only hoped to get some more approvals to dissolve his doubts.

Yes, you may certainly use "Snake Style" while Armed. There is no reason that you cannot. However, only your Unarmed Strikes can be treated as Piercing. Nothing else.

Silver Crusade

Yeap, the only requirements are 'While using the Snake Style Feat' and 'You must be aware of the attack and not flat-footed.'

To use Snake Style you must use a Swift Action to enter it. So if you haven't used another Swift Action, you can enter Snake Style as a part of your first action in the combat, gaining its benefits and options.

There is no mention of being armed, a snake, or wearing pants for that matter.
