i guess you could contract lycanthropy and then take http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/advancedFeats.html#_aspect-of-t he-beast
Or i guess you could take improved unarmed strike and just pretend you have claws.

Without multiclassing, then your only option is expensive magic items.
Demon Armor, Demon Talon, and Talons of Leng all grant claws, that stay on at all times.

Is there a way for my Sorceror 2 (future dragon disciple) can get any claws that are permanent?
This is more for flavor than actual combat effectiveness.Another question-could be extend his bloodline claws (to get the magic and energy damage) with these "permanent claws"?
Since you're looking at a martial PrC (Dragon Disciple), I would suggest a level of Ranger along with a feat. If you want to handle traps and don't mind losing the spell completion, go with trapper ranger archetype.
Ran1/Sorc4 into Dragon disciple at least won't hit you in the BAB as badly as Sorc5 into it.

Could you explain exactly what I'd be getting?
I'm kinda confused why you recommended trapper ranger.james maissen |

You take natural weapon as your combat style for the ranger, and you take the feat 'aspect of the beast' for the claws.
As far as trapper goes, if you are only looking at spell completion (rather than actual casting) then trading that for traps is a reasonable tradeoff.

You need two levels of ranger to get the combat style, but yeah, if you take the Natural Weapons style, you can take Aspect of the Beast for claws as your second level style feat.
You'd still only get the magic and energy damage while using the bloodline claws, though I think you can take Eldritch Claws once your BAB is high enough once you have claws.

Would entering my PrC a level late affect me that much?
I have the trait that raises your effective caster level by 2, but not over your hit dice. That would help keep my spells on course.
What I'm asking is, "Would the two-level dip in ranger hurt me that bad?"
PS: it's quite easy to explain the ranger levels. We're fighting tons of undead, boom. Ranger with undead as favored. That +2 att/dmg might be enough to make it worth it. Plus the RP opportunities? I think it's too much flavor NOT to do it.

my ranger (natural weapon combat style, shapeshifter archetype optional from APG ) has claws via the aspect of the beast feat ( 1d4 damage ). use them anytime.
if you're just a little casty, and mostly melee, i'd take some levels in it , as a ranger it won't hurt you on the bab, and will add ranger spells to your class list options , and can get aspect of the beast feat for claws. not as great as Sorcerer claws, but the archetype allows access to Improved Natural Attack, so you can make them 1d6 claws.
my dragon disciple went more castery, and got charisma boost items to extend the # of rounds he can use claws. and uses a keen falchion primarily. There are some feats that extend the # of uses or rounds for sorcerer bloodline abilities too i think. no?

He's primarily focused on surviving the first few levels, actually.
Then, probably going to be melee and cold-energy damage spells. Evocations? How many levels of danger do you suggest?
If I go 1-2, does that still put divine spells "on my list", so I can use divine and arcane activation items (scroll, wands, etc)?
Or would I have to go ranger 4 to get that benefit?

Level 1 ranger (without archetypes removing spellcasting) give you the ability to activate wands (and staves) of spells on your spell list even though you do not have a caster level.
Level 4 ranger gives you a caster level and thus you can attempt to read divine scrolls of spells on your spell list.

Yes wands and staves, no scrolls?

" A ranger who selects the natural weapon combat style can take this feat without having to meet the prerequisites (even if he does not select Aspect of the Beast as a bonus feat)."
Note you must be a level 2 ranger to have the "natural weapon combat style". You can't be level one and promise to take it at two =D

i equate it to being part of an archetype, even though you haven't yet reached a level where you'd select your archetype yet. which is legit in pfs.
to be completely on the level, my ranger / druid hit ranger 2 at 3rd character level, so he could select his ranger combat style as natural, spend his 3rd level feat for Aspect of the Beast, and use his Ranger combat style feat to take Improved Natural Attack.
But its mincing. if you're a ranger, you know your combat style at 1st level. you're not taking point blank shot and precise shot at 1st level going, ya know i'm going to be a sword & board ranger. =)

Yeah, he hits Ranger 1 at character level 5, so that feat will be arcane strike.
Next, at Ranger 2, char 6, will be aspect of the beast.Dragon Disciple 1, char 7, improved nat attack. Probably.
Any input?
