This is the
discussion
thread for
two
campaigns:
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Okay, that's good enough for me.
Kobal Veris wrote: Kobal is at 110 with rage active. Have kobal already made the fort save against the horrid whilthing effect?
I have to go now to do some lecturing, but I suppose this is the last time I post a turn without updating the map =/
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Isn't there an invisible Gnome somewhere? And how high are those guys flying?
Oh, I came too late. As described in the monsters last turn they are al flying.
"The Cuesto and the Leuko that where with Auron teleport back to the main hall, flying about 20 ft high"
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
BTW, did you manage to create a google doc?
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Okay. I EDITed my post so Kobal can actually charge the daemons and thus I spare Nicos of the headache of having to retcon such a huge action!
Ain't I kind?
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Map
Except...
- Kobal is now adjacent to the daemon further awy from Sun Xiao.
- Auron is one square to the left from the one where Kobal was before he charged.
Does kobal target the leuko?
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
I think so. He can ignore AoO from reach, so why not?
Kobal, if you are fatigued, how do you keep raging?
drayen wrote: Kobal, if you are fatigued, how do you keep raging? "A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted " -it does not mention that getting fatigued end the rage, but if he end the rage then he can not rage again until recover from the status effect.

Interesting. Good to know.
I am waiting for an update due to the two huge attacks to know what is still standing and where before I take my action. I cannot fly and need to know where I can be of most use.
Ok, give a minuto to see if kobal killed the leuko.
yeah, he totally destroyed it.
SO you can see that there are still two ceustos (one hurted and one with full hps) and the jackal headed daemon.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Sorry, Drayen, couldn't cast Air Walk on you... You and Kobal are too far from each other :(. I can cast Fly if you wait another round.
uhm, castien is closer to korak than you.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
I meant to say they are too far from each other. So I ended up buffing the guy dual-wielding freaking greatswords! lol.
Also... Not Korak. Auron.

Nicos wrote: uhm, castien is closer to korak than you. Jeez, Castien is so far away he somehow managed to end up in an alternate dimension!
Ha!, it is not even the fisrt time I do the same mistake, but this time I di dnot noticed it ^^
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
If it makes you feel better, Nicos, I did post as Korak in this campaign by mistake.... -.-'
Luckily, it was just an ooc post.
I do not feel bad, the leuko that recently get slaughtered feel bad, he do not have tie to use its better tricks.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Nicos wrote: he do not have tie to use its better tricks. Sorry, I do not understand what you meant here. That it didn't live long enough to use its best tricks?
yeah, tie should have been "time". better should have been "best".
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Ah, I see. Now everything makes sense! I'VE DECIPHERED THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE!
Ok people, The day is almost over for you, lets count how may hit points, spells and rage round do you have ramaining.
By the way, while fatigued kobal can not enter a new rage.
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
74 HP, 3 Stunning Fists left.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10

He didn't. He just sustained the one he was in.

Male Human Titan Mauler 13
kobal only raged for 3 rounds so he is fatigued for 18 seconds.
He also was hitted by waves of fatigued by the meladaemon in the first round
"Sun and kobal hear their friend pain but before they can act they can hear in their mind a voice diferent from before
Never send a mortal to do a Daemon work -
A diferent daemon, A jackal head one become visible flying at 20 ft high and send magic missile to sun (19 dmg) and at the same time cast a wave of dark energy that make you both feel fatigued (no save)."
Male Human Titan Mauler 13
reading hte description of the spell it seems that it is until you sleep.
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
Yar, Fatigue (without a duration attached) lasts until you sleep for 8 hours (2 with a Ring of Sustenance).

Do you think you can go another combat without healing? I only have 2 Heal spells prepared, so I'd rather not send them before necessary. I can still cast Lesser Restorartion on Kobal to remove his fatigue.
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
If you've got another of those, I could use it as well.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Only if you guys can wait 15min -.-'. Otherwise, the only Fatigue-removing spell I have is Heal, which I don't mind using, that's what they are for, but I'd rather not use them too soon, as they might come in handy later, and Heal is possibly the one healing spell that is actually useful in combat.
Be ready, you destroyed my two CR +1 encounters. The next one is probably a CR +3/+4.
Male Human Titan Mauler 13
Removing fatigue is important, I can probably wait on healing for a little while, just be ready with it.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Of course. I'm kinda running out of combat spells, though. So we should rest when we have the chance.
can't believe I forgot to buy a Rod of Quickening -.-'
Castien is at 131 hp for the next hour. After that he will be at 94 hp. He has no injuries, no conditions and the spell list is updated.
Male Human Dungeon Master 10/ Munchkin 10
Auron had few combat spells prepared for the day, since I was expecting more of an investigation than straight combat. And he had to use some of his best healing spells to keep Danissa alive.
If the next encounter is to be a CR = APL+3 or 4, we should probably return and come back better prepared. Including protections against disease and poison.

I am 100% against metagaming. The party has not had any issues with the fights to this point and there is no in game reason we would turn and run at this time.

^
I agree, although we know the next fight will hard our characters have no idea.

Not so much metagaming as it is "Hey, all my high level spells are gone and we had to run away from our enemy in our first battle."
But okay, I don't mind going forward anyway.
