"Do you eat them raw or cooked? I like my taters cooked."

Scarab Sages

"Potatoes and carrots, you say? How promising. I cannot say I am much of a cook, myself, but combine those with some meat and onions, and I do know that those are the basis for an excellent Utter-Eastern style of curry."

Sovereign Court

So does this mean you kids are ready to head out

"I was thinking we did not want to run out of food. That last place was nice it had plenty of salty sea food for Nasty to eat, but the next place might not, So I though potato chips might keep him happy."

Yes ready to go

"I like tater chips too. And Gnome and Gnoll chips and cow patties and ice cream and snails. I like everything except for hippie veagan bards with bongos. They don' taste good."

As soon as Nasty buy's his food, we will head out.

*Leads nasty to the meat market.*

Nasty, show me how much money you have.

I guess I'll have to eat these pixies by myself.

NASTY, get over here.

"What is money?" He gives her a strange look.

"I have weapons and food ... most of my food is eaten and I have my chain mail shirt I wear clothes. But I have never been given money. Don't you hold my money like my other friends and family and when I need things I come to you for it as my leader?"

What did you do with your share of the money when we sold off the stuff we looted from those we killed?

Sovereign Court

Doesn't Nasty keep his cash in one of his many stomachs and regurg it when needed

"You kept my share and said that you would give it to me if I needed it."

No, I did not.
Did you let someone talk you out of your money?
Or did you lose it?

"If you told him it was lunch money....he probably ate it..."

"Maybe we can walk and talk at the same time, I can sing a song for the road."

*Purchases 10 days of Nasty-sized rations.*

Here, do not eat any of these until I tell you you can. And when I say you can only eat one, that does not mean you wait until you are done with the first then start on the next. It means you are only allowed to eat 1 per day.

Have you created a seperate demi-plane for these rations?

Bag of holding?

".....okay. One bag of holding shouldn't be a problem. Just tell me before anyone thinks of getting a second one, whether in a shop or as loot."

I was thinking of getting several and nesting them like Russian dolls.

"I know."

Dark Archive

"Thank you Boss. I don't know what happened to money. I think Halfling may have told me he kept it for safe keeping then if it wasn't you boos."

UM, Who You?

"Nasty isn't nasty when he's hungry, someone give him a snickers."

"I am better now."

"See what happens when you don't feed me Boss?"

Whatever, lets get moving.

Sovereign Court

And so our intrepid heroes set off into the jungle towards a central plateau, supposedly the home of Kodru. Who or what kodru is...I don't know perhaps i'll tell you later.

It was hot and sticky progress was slow and the mosquitoes were relentless but our brave heroes trudged on...

Scarab Sages

Using prestidigitation, Tvashtri flavors himself like garlic to repel the mosquitoes.

Are you basting yourself for Nasty's next meal?

I think he likes to tempt fate.

The air smelled like snakes and garlic

What kind of snakes?

Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23

Sovereign Court

Alissa: They smell like this

YIKES!
Twang: 1d20 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 15 + 1 = 20
Thwip: 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 10

Looking and smelling Tvashtri. He says out loud. "Must not eat my party members must not eat party members. "

He lashes out with his tongue at one of the snakes Alissa shot and swallows it whole.

"Alissa says can't eat part members even if they smell delicious."

"Ah whole snake one of the few foods that when swallowed whole, comes back out in the same shape."

Also shoots a snake...
Shortbow attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12, Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Shortbow attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10, Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Sovereign Court

There are more than enough snakes for everyone to shoot, be careful about shooting nasty's tongue they kinda lookalike

Full Attack
First: 1d20 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 15 + 1 = 35 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 8
Second: 1d20 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 15 + 1 = 32 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 13
Third: 1d20 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 1 = 31 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 8

RRRAAAWWWWRRRR!!!
Claw 1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2) + 10 = 16
Claw 2: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3) + 10 = 19
Bite: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Rend?: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 3) + 10 = 21

Sovereign Court

And so it was for 3 days our brave adventurers hacked through the jungle killing every snake in their path with ruthless efficiency Eventually they emerged from the jungle to see high imposing walls of upthrust rock, the top of which is shrouded in clouds and the group could catch glimpses of snow.

There are no clear trails up the cliff wall, but it appears that the wall can be scaled in many places as their are obvious handholds and routes up the rock face.

BASHY!!!

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
1d8 + 5 + 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 5 + (2, 5) + 6 = 24

"Good plan first test for illusions."

*Pulls rock climbing kit out of pocket of holding.*
*Shrinks Bear and puts her in carrying case.*
Climb: 1d20 + 15 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 15 + 10 = 30

*levitate up along with Alissa*

Climbs up the wall punching hand holds as he goes if needed or using his tongue as a rope if needed.

Climb: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 38

"I like to climb and use my any tool to launch a grappling hook, but I much prefer for accension to ride the volumpuous backside of one of those naughty winged women, if you can whip one up, and then I can."

Grins and pulls out a riding crop...

This would normally be a 12 hour climb but with your resourcefullness you make it up significantly quicker. The normally half naked succubus will have to put on her fur coat as the top of the rocks are covered in ice and snow and the temperature is below freezing.

Down below in to what is the largest caldera any of you have witnessed the terrain gradually changes back to jungle surrounding a lake in the middle. There looks to be a settlement along the banks of the lake as well as an island in the middle of the lake.

It would be an 8 hour journey by foot to reach the bottom

Are you talking about the other side of the mountain?

*Pulls overcoat out of pocket and puts it on.*
