That would work, but you can keep your underclothes on.

I wear chainmail briefs.

That... Has to cause some unfortunate pinching. And don't you humans have hair down there? Wouldn't that get caught and painfully pulled out? Doesn't it rust? Also, how can you wear those when it's really hot outside? Like your eggs sunny side up? Or what about when it's really cold. Talk about a popsicle.

Scarab Sages

"Copper wire..." Tvashtri looks down at Agni with sadness in his eyes. "How much would you need, and..." His voice and expression become uncharacteristically steely. "...are you certain it would work?"

Hmmm... Enough to connect all the plates, and no... Oooh! Another idea! Wait, is there a door out of this room? -looks for a way out-

Alissa: The hall continues for another 40 feet then turns due east for 20 feet and then turns north for 70 feet before opening into a room.

Alick: The only way to find out if there is another exit is to venture down the 70' corridor

Alrighty then. Anyone going to volunteer to scout ahead while being partially naked and without any metal weapons? Yes? No? I'll go, but only if I can take Alissa's bear with me for back up. What think you, bear? If there is a way out, then I'll come back, move everyones metal objects across telekinetically, then we can proceed. If not, then I'll come back and we figure something else out.

"If Raistlin were here he would put a forcefully at both ends and continuously flood the tunnel till the thing burned itself out!".......maybe that's my power!"

Trap begins trying to draw an effigy of the archmage such as to summon him....

Well, if it heats only metal... then jelly should be safe. And evertything I carry melts into my cube form... so if you guys give me your metal stuff, I could carry it past the trap.

Do you really want to delve into the answers to these questions?

Sovereign Court

TD: Hickman and Weis, They stole everything from me.

Jenny: That remains to be seen

AMH: I for one vote hell no

AM HEALER, strip naked and come into the room. You can cover yourself for the sake of the ladies. Or they can look away. If you start to feel hot, get out and heal yourself. If not, then we can all cross one by one, with me telekinetically transporting your metal equipment across.

JRR Tolkien wrote:

"If Gandalf were here!.......any of you archmages?"

Okay. I strip down and walk through the room.

Sovereign Court

AMH: As you reach the end of the 70' long corridor, it opens into a 30'x 30' room with an exit in the northwest. A set of stairs leading out of the murky algaefied water.

Suddenly a door previously unseen opens in the southeast corner and ghouls begin pouring out.

I put on a burst of speed with my levitating and charge them, using my special combo attack 'Me'teor strike. me-teor strike: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 145d4 + 12 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 4, 2) + 12 = 21 It has a 30ft blast radius, reflex for half. It would do more damage, but the water puts out some of my fire. Anywhoo, basically I fly into them wrapped in a telekinetic bubble with all my crystals around me charged with fire. Upon impact, the telekinetic bubble explodes outwards with the crystals, dealing bludgeoning, piercing, and fire damage. Downside is I'm without my crystalline defenses for a round, so my effective ac drops quite a bit.

And those were some really crap ass rolls.

"Oh a lunch door." He looks at Alissa "Can I eat these things trying to hurt our healer?"

Sovereign Court

Alick: You manage to splode 3 of them however more are pouring out.Oh the horror, 2 attack AMH and 2 attack Alick

AMH ghoul bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
ghoul bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Alick ghoul bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
ghoul bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

You must save vs paralysis/poison/death magic or be paralyzed

Except those rolls still miss even my crap ac currently! Haha! I gather my crystals back to me and form my protective shell and a pair of crystal blades that are on fire and go slashy slash on them!
Slashy Ghoul 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d8 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + (2) + 3 = 7
Slash Ghoul 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d8 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (7) + (5) + 3 = 15

Oooh! Crit! Let me roll to confirm Crit confirm!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Crappy crit confirm...

Scarab Sages

The now-familiar symphony of clicking, ticking, spinning, and springing noises flare up again.

Tvashtri levels his crossbow at one of the stragglers...

crossbow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Minimus Macabre projects a pale beam at another...

disrupt undead ranged touch: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

...Wicked weaver vomits a web onto the bulk of them...

Make a DC 17 Reflex save or suffer the silk!

...and Agni fires an incendiary spark into the web.

fire damage, reiterate as applicable: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4

Eat away.

No metal on me. Walk thru fully armed.

Die Ghoul

TWANG: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Thwip: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10

You're up Bear.

*Throws little bear who becomes full size just as she lands on a ghoul.*

RRAAWWWHHHRRR!!!

Claw 1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
Shread 1: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 3) + 10 = 17

Claw 2: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
Shread 2: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3) + 10 = 19

Bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
NomNom: 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

1000 lb Ball of Furry Fury: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Splat: 3d6 + 20 ⇒ (1, 5, 3) + 20 = 29

Trap puts his brass knuckles into the jar of mud and hurries across, he then shatters the jar and picks up his knuckles of disruption......

"Owweeei" those got a little warm in there."

World's biggest and first MRI?

Not wearing any metal armor he drops his axe and wades into combat with the ghouls with his bare hands and mouth. He flys into a furious rage.

"You leave my friends alone I eat you all for the Devourer."

Nasty Togue bath: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32

Swallow Whole: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 202d6 + 12 ⇒ (1, 2) + 12 = 15

Fist of Nasty: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 251d4 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

Sovereign Court

FYI These ghouls only have 10 HP. they are just bad if you happen to be unarmored and deweaponized.

TD: You make it 40 feet through the corridor before you notice the mud is completely dry and the glass is really hot. i.e. you will be taking damage very soon

More ghoulies will be pouring out into the room it's just that I don't want to do all these attacks on my phone.

Sovereign Court

Sorry about that kids RL stuff got in the way last night. So with the majority of you down here. You will have your way with the 10hp ghouls.

save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Was that a good enough save?

I'd bash the ghouls, but I'm naked.

Forget the weapons. Get with the turning!

If any ghouls get near AM HEALER. Nasty Orc tackles them and tries swallowing whole another.

Tackling Time: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21

Swallow Whole: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 382d6 + 12 ⇒ (4, 3) + 12 = 19

"For the Devourer. I EAT YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sovereign Court

AMH: You are good

Nasty: There no ghoulies left...now.

They are each wearing an arm band that prevents them from being turned. There are 8 total.

You have an exit in the northwest corner with stairs leading up and out of the water and the secret door in the southeast corner that the ghouls came from.

Watch it, you'll get a tummy ache.

I forgot, I now have multi-shot.
Twang: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Target 1: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12
Target 2: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13
Target 3: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 = 11

Scarab Sages

Tvashtri blinks.

"I think that's over now."

"That mud was not good enough.....anyone able to create water?"

Ummm... not water... but if you want sludge, I could help.

We've been wading through water for awhile now. Or is that water not good enough for you? I'm sure AMH could purify it for you.

Looks like I got ninja'd by several minutes. That's what happens when posting from work and customers have the tenacity to interupt a perfectly good goofing off period.

Sovereign Court

I feel your pain Alissa, here I am sitting in my office when someone knocks and asks "are you busy". Just when I am in the middle of posting.

I couldn't turn them even if it were possible. My holy symbol is with my clothes.

"So I go back and get my axe?"

No one is quite certain why Nasty took his clothes off as he does not wear armor. In fact many are right now wishing he had left his clothing on.

He did not mention putting his clothing back on.

Sovereign Court

Nasty: And how are you getting the axe across?

Can he throw it across?

Sovereign Court

Wish you would have done this earlier, it would have been fun to have a ghoul swinging it around.

He throw his axe and his father's adamantine laced club across the room.

It would have been fun to see them try. You need 22 str to wield the weapons.

With those huge hamfists and an unhingable jaw, do you really need to use weapons?

Sovereign Court

The Nasty Orc wrote:

I figured that, which is why I was going to have two wield one weapon and attack at like -10

"The club is my daddy's club. The axe was my Mammy's. Plus I like the crunch sound the club makes and the spray of blood from the axe."

He says with a smile.

Whatever floats your boat.
