Inquisitor allowed alignment

Rules Questions

Ok, so this may be a stupid question, but when making an inquisitor it says this for alignment:

"An inquisitor’s alignment must be within one step of her deity’s, along either the law/chaos axis or the good/evil axis."

So does this mean if you had a LE god you could be LG or CE and still be an inquisitor, or if you had a LN god could you be LG, LN, LE and still be an inquisitor of that god?

Liberty's Edge

It is the same as the requirement for the Cleric.

Inquisitor of a LE god must be LE (zero step, so less than one step), LN (one step on the Good/Evil axis) or NE (one step on the Law/Chaos axis).

So, your first case does not work for both LG (two steps on the Good/Evil axis) or CE (two steps on the Law/Chaos axis) Inquisitors.

Inquisitor of a LN god must be LN (zero step, so less than one step), LE (one step on the Good/Evil axis), LG (one step on the Good/Evil axis) or True Neutral (one step on the Law/Chaos axis).

So your second case works for all inquisitors.

ok, thank you.
