That depends on a lot of factors...

Of course, if I actually did eat 150 pizza bites, I might wish to die.

That is probably true.

I miss the old me too. I'm trying to track down my notes for that kitsune nine-tails archetype, not sure where I saved them.

Very sorry I missed your birthday (and Feros' too).

That is a tough one...I would probably go with Occult as it has all the enchantment stuff.

Given that you are two thousand miles away, I don't think she had much to worry about.

Like ghosts become flesh for the first time
we came to the land of the living
tasted the bread
sipped the wine
spoke the language of belonging.

In a tent on a hill walled by green
we gathered for one more meal.
I watched twilight
dance with candlelight
and breathed in a hint of truly alive.

Can you be sick for a home you’ve never seen?
Sometimes the curtain flutters,
and I catch a glimpse
of a fawn in the shadow
that bids me to follow.

I can’t. Not yet.
But I am coming home.

- from the poet Jen Rose

Can you be sick for a home you’ve never seen?

Selene,

Looks like the stray grey tabby cat that's been coming around for several months is going to be a regular here. So, I should probably stop calling him "stray cat." My question for you (and anyone else here), what'd be a good name for him?

As I define Home... being with the one you love...yes as I feel that way all the time and I have not met the one I love.

I might have defined home as a place of safety; a place you don't need to hide who you really are.

And for the record, my wisdom teeth never came in, which means (1d20 - 4 ⇒ (14) - 4 = 10: Perception roll Failure) ...something?

Fyre is quoting lyrics from songs from Cats. Most of the songs are very catchy and unforgettable, especially if you experienced it when you were young. That's not a recommendation to see it: I like it very much, but it's a very cheesy, very goofy-weird experience, like trying to eat an entire box of super-sweet kids' cereal in one sitting and staying enamored of the crappy toy packed inside for years afterward. It's terrible in a so-bad-it's-(almost)-good way, but the musical (including the filmed 1998 version) knows exactly what it is and doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't.

If you've seen the original, the recent CGI-fest movie isn't brain-breakingly bad* as many reviewers thought, but the movie tries to convince itself it's high art, when it never was. It's mostly just disappointing, and worse, dull. And it has James Corden in it, whom I can't stand.

And for what it's worth, many LGBTIQ+ people seem to remember seeing it and remembering it as a "hey, maybe I'm not straight" moment of self-awareness.

* Except the dancing cockroaches. If there wasn't extremely-powerful psycho-pharmaceuticals involved in conceiving that, those someones need to be remanded to the Arkham Sanitarium for observation, because no human mind should have imagined that.

Pro the 1999 movie! The effects were grossly rushed in the recent version.

Yeah, I really like that one too. I'm not saying any version of Cats has a great story or song lyrics, but the filmed version of the stage production is full of great performances. I'm particularly fond of "Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer", Demeter & Bombalurina singing "Macavity", and Jemima's parts.

Actually, the current film could have been MUCH better (then it ended up being) if they had taken more time with it. :(
