do you think you can give us the name of one of the iconics for ruins of Azlant?
I went very "classic" early-Pathfinder on this one for iconics, so you can expect a Core Rulebook selection as far as classes go. That was one of my criteria for this Adventure Path. To reveal one of the iconics, I'll go ahead and say that Valeros is one of the four iconics for the Ruins of Azlant AP. The backstory for the driving element of the campaign starts in Andoran, and since Valeros is from there, he seemed like a solid choice.

OK thank you :)

ADAM!
What (if anything) is the one thing you wanted to include in Ruins of Azlant but couldn't find a way to include?
Whew. That's a tough one. Nothing springs to mind immediately, because I think we all addressed much of what I had planned in the outline (and then some with everyone's rad brainstorms). I have added a few small things here and there during development that were things that I wanted in there that I didn't know I wanted in there (like clockwork reply devices and a prismatic mold) and I'm sure the opportunity will present itself more as I work through the last half of the AP in development.

I'm pretty sure they exist, but since we only recently made up sahkils, there hasn't been any good chance to elaborate on what tiefling subraces related to them would be like. Without putting too much work into it right here, mechanically they'd probably get an ability score bump to Dex and Cha, with a penalty to either Wis or Int and the alternate SLA would probably be scare.

Is Camazots related to the Sahkils?
Both enjoy scaring mortals and reside in Xibalba.
There are certainly some shared themes, but we haven't explored the connection between sahkils and Camazots. In fact, I forgot that we used the name XIbalba in print before I used it for the realm of the sahkils. They're probably the same place, but Camazots is weird in that he also hangs out in the Abyss. Dude's got a lot of homes. :)
I think they'd all get along, regardless.

How does Sahkil reproduction work?
As in can a soul be turned directly into a Sahkil or must it first by a Psychopomp and then be turned.
If two Sahkils breed, will the offspring be a Psychopomp or a Sahkil?
Sahkils form the same way all other outsiders do, for the most part. So, a soul can directly become a sahkil.
I sense a bit of confusion with the psychopomp connection. Sahkils aren't directly corrupted psychopomps. That event that formed the first sahkils happened ages upon ages ago; so long in the past that the two outsider races are completely unrelated anymore these days. (Much like how divs first came into existence from corrupted genies.)

But modern genies and psychopomps can still be corrupted into divs and sahkils?
If they can be corrupted to evil, could they not also be converted to good?
To leave their natural purpose behind for a higher cause.

A psychopomp 'blasphemously' being good and breaking all sorts of rules, allowing related petitioners to hang out together in line, or allowing someone to cling to life a bit past their due date to witness the birth of a grandchild, or whatever, could be funky.
Since there are already 'heretic' evil ex-psychopomps, could there be heretic good (ex?) psychopomps?
(I don't really see much potential for lawful 'heretic' psychopomps, because Pharasma's all about rules anyway, despite not being technically lawful. A chaotic psychopomp who wants to randomly assign souls to whatever afterlife comes up on the spinning wheel, on the other hand, would probably not amuse her...)

In the right story and situation, sure. But, it's not like it's a natural progression or something that is terribly common. It's not like it's a stage of life or anything. Those two groups of fiends coming about through corruption of other types of outsiders is more an origin story rather than a kind of metamorphosis.

I'm sorry, what I meant was their domains, favored weapon, subdomains, etc. All the details required to worship them if you're a divine caster.

Ah! I get it now.
Um, I can't think of a time when we've mentioned that kind of information for other deceased deities.

I *think* that Humans of Golarion had one for Aroden, but that may have been an outlier, and, IIRC, James Jacobs regards it as a misstep.

Right, but The Recorder was asking about any other dead gods. Those are the only three I can think of.

Do they only enjoy scaring mortals? Or is anyone fair game?
Do prefer scaring mortals? Do they prefer scaring things that are difficult to scare or is it all the same to them?
Would they prefer anti-paladins as the aura of cowardice means anything can be feared?
I'm pretty sure that sahkils would enjoy working their trade on anything and anyone who can feel fear. While mortals are the most common victims, I'm sure that some enterprising sahkils would love the challenge of tormenting more powerful victims.
I'm sure that someone of them might take advantage of an antipaladin's aura. Why not? :)

Favorite outer plane, inner plane, transient plane, and demi-plane?
Do you like oni, azura, and/or rakshasa? Have any favorites?
What are your top five favorite locations in the Inner Sea?
Hmmm, I'm bad with favorites, but here goes my feeling at this immediate moment.
Abaddon, First World, Ethereal, and not sure.
Those outsiders are fine. Of the three listed I like the asuras the best.
Sodden Lands, Nidal, Varisia, Uringen, and Absalom.

Have you ever played any of the Shin Megami Tensei games such as Persona, Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga, etc.?
Are there any video games coming out this year that you are interested in?
I've never played any of those. I'm not really a video game player. The last console I owned was the NES, and while I've played a number of games in the past on a PC, I haven't played anything resembling a robust game in many years—with the exception of Fallout 4 when it came out. Speaking of, I need to fire that back up at some point and check on my settlements.

What did you like to play for the NES?
To be honest, that was 30 years ago, so I don't remember much more beyond the big names like Super Mario Brothers, Legend of Zelda, and stuff like that. Either way, I didn't have very many games because I was a broke kid. In fact, I ended up selling the NES to a friend for $50 when I was like 15 because I needed money more than a video game system.

1. The Lost Outpost said that the true leaders of the alghollthus are the veiled masters. But page 13 of Occult Mysteries said that even the veiled masters themselves are not the most powerful of their kind. The book said that the way in which aboleths and veiled masters seem to defer to the presence of the even stranger being suggests an altogether more terryfing truth.
2. Occult Mysteries said that adventurers tell tales of shapeless, half-glimpsed things stirring in the murk; of shoals of strange, wriggling swarms displaying unusual intelligence; of eel-like monstrosities with mouth within mouths within mouths; of armored leviathans that stride like giants along the sea floor; and of even stranger visions. Among them, the eel-like monstrosities would be omnipaths. But what are the others? Did they make appearances in Ruins of Azlant?
3. The Mhalssthru agreed to use master glyphs to call down Earthfall upon Azlant, but only after Golarion's speaker acquiesced to execution and having its protoplasm devolved to nonsentient cellular life-forms and more than half of the planet's alghollthus agreed to enter voluntary chrysalis hibernation until the Mhalssthru gave them permission to reemerge. What is the reason of this harsh treatment? Maybe the bloody massacre of millions of innocent humans seemed too horrible to the alghollthus on other planets?
4. Alghollthus can undergo a chrysalis-like metamorphosis. In this manner, some aboleths become veiled masters or omnipaths. Each alghollthu is capable of spawning through asexual reproduction by way of the metamorphosis process. Each reproduced alghollthu is effectively a clone of its parent. Then what would happen if a veiled master or an omnipath produce a baby? Would this new alghollthu be a veiled master or an omnipath as well? Or would this new alghollthu always be an aboleth?
5. There are other alghollthu subraces called thalassic architects, enisysians, and plizeazoths. Can they produce a baby alghollthu as well? Can they transform via metamorphosis?
6. Veiled master and omnipath are human terms for racial subspecies of alghollthus. For example, thalassic architects are known as uldraaghus in the language of alghollthus. Then what is the proper term for the veiled masters and omnipaths in the language of alghollthus?

7. There is a series of colossal shelled constructs loosely resembling lobsters in Beyond the Veiled Past. Each of these transports is large enough to hold 100 Medium creatures within its bulk. It has 1,000 hp and a hardness of 10. I'm curious. How big is this ulat-kini transport? Colossal? Gargantuan?
8. These ships can submerge. Then would the water come in once it submerged? I ask this because I'm not sure if it can be used to hold human soldiers or not.
9. It seems that many alghollthus regard Ochymua an aberration among them. Many of them objected to Ochymua's plan. Is it because the modern alghollthus sincerely repent what they did 10,000 years ago? Maybe they are on the path to redemption?
10. To me, the veiled master Olordaera seems like a decent creature. It is one of the few who recognizes the threat the Dominion means for Golarion. It makes every effort to protect Golarion from the Dominion of the Black. Thus can I assume that Olordaera does not pose a threat to humans? Maybe Olordaera is not evil?
11. After its release, Ochymua established telepathic contact with the omnipath Quocwel who had kept the veiled master in its telepathic mesh for all this time. Is it because they were best friends? Maybe alghollthus were not that evil after all.
12. It seems that, after Ochymua dies, Quocwel would attack the Compass to seize the Synchrony Device. Then if the PCs destroyed the device, would Quocwel still march on the Compass? Or it would not bother, because Ochymua was only a useful tool to the omnipath?
13. Page 73 of Beyond the Veiled Past said that the Veiled master Thulgroon found inspiration in the form of Irori's own personal ascension through self-perfection. Thus, can I assume that it has monk levels?

...
1. That was listed after the "Theories" header, so who knows if it's really true?
2. The "armored leviathans that stride like giants along the sea floor" sounds like it could be deep walkers.
3. Alghollthus are supposed to be alien in their thoughts, so who knows what kind of weird reasoning they might have.
4. and 5. Possibly Alghollthu biology is weird, and they have control over their own genetic material, so who knows what could happen. It wasn't anything I was interested in nailing down any more than what ended up in print.
6. Currently unknown.
7. They're probably Colossal.
8. I'm not sure. They don't have stats, so make 'em do whatever you want.
9. They don't repent, they just don't really get Ochymua because they think it's making bad decisions.
10. Just because it doesn't want to see the planet overrun with aliens, doesn't mean that it's not evil. It's willfully seeking to control an entire nation and has straight up murdered people.
11. There's no evidence that they found any pleasure in their relationship. Quocwel likely kept Ochymua in its mesh because there wasn't a need to remove it.
12. It probably wouldn't bother if the threat to alghollthus was eliminated.
13. There's no reason to assume that it has monk levels.
