Two big beefy fighter types (or stealthy assasins!) needed.

Gamer Connection

I'm currently running Ruins of the Dragon Lord but need a couple of fighters. There is another thread onhere that deals with it and their are a couple of possible players on their. But just in case they dont reply, I need either traditional fights or paladins, barbarians etc. A Paladin will fit in great as the adventure hasnt really got going yet and its an ideal time to slot pcs in.

If this is for a fast-paced pbp, I would be interested. Good role-playing? epic adventure? heroism and/or villainy? Let me know what the game is like if you want me to propose a character.

Me can be doin fings like wat he says

*** If you need a barbarian type character please let me know ***

Youd both be welcome. Take a look at the game so far on the pbp spage, under Blood of Dragons.
Also see the discussion thread under Dragon Lord Background.
A Barbarian would be good and a Paladin?

Let me know what you both propose.

From what I've read it looks like I would be able to fit in. How would you like Gronck to be introduced to the rest of the party?

I'm new to PbP (and Pathfinder). My concept is a Half-orc barbarian with very little in the way of mental characteristics. What system are we using to generate characters? I have the Guide To Pathfinder Society Organized Play (version 1.1 dated 8/11/08).

Edit: Gronck could be asleep outside the temple, looking like a pile of furs (he wears furs over his leather armour). The smell of the bread may cause him to stir

I'm conversant with Beta, and I see some variant rules like flaw and traits. I'll whip something up today and post it here.

I don't know much about the game world, but if the game is going to be fairly fast-paced, I'd like to submit Kimeon Rake for your approval.

I'll do stats later, but for now, Kimeon Rake is a halfling warrior. He sees himself as something of an avenger of his race, combatting prejudice and ridicule where he finds it. Mostly, he trains to fight larger things, intending to demonstrate that a fighter of his stature is deadlier than any larger foe.

During development, Rake might encounter giants or larger creatures as his nemeses, pursue the ranger, rogue, and scout classes, and take levels in prestige classes related to his mechanical and thematic elements. Whisperknife and "Halfling" Gisnt Slayer (instead of gnome) are strong possibilities.

He brings to the game consistent posting, role-play and fun mechanics. He should be quite the litte badadd - just don't call him little or mistake him for a child or whatnot.

He asks of the camapaign - giants and other large foes and fat levelling. I don't mind a lot of rp between the action - I love the development and acting and such. But he's an action hero with lots of multiclassing, so to be fun, he'll need to level.

Another strong martial character is the champion of corellon larethian. I can change the names of the classes and deities and such. The elven warrior makes a good backup to the halfling one, and it's a way to get a paladin in, that might be more willing to put up with a barbarian in the ranks that your average human paladin.

Your choice, man!

Ok, a bit of background.

Gronck is performing his rite of passage in order to become a full adult within his tribe - he will also have his 'property' status removed. The rite of passage involves performing a courageous deed and surviving to return to the tribe to tell them about it.

Currently Gronck is considered the 'property' of the tribe because his mother was captured by the tribe and became tribal property herself. Gronck's father died on a raid whilst his mother was pregnant and his mother died in child-birth. Being born of property means you are property and he was treated as such; all of the demeaning jobs that the true-blood orcs would not do were dumped on him has he grew up. Now, at fourteen, he has the opportunity to shed the property status once and for all.

+++++++++++++++

I'm not sure where to find the traits/flaws because they don't appear to be in the beta rules. Where and when would you like me to post Gronck's details? Oh, and how do you include a Spoiler button in a post?

I like that idea. 3.5 or Pathfinder Beta, which you can download for free. I'll drop some info into the story about the pile of furs and let ou go from there. Dont worry to much about the rules though. As long as your not playing a pc thats outlandishly wrong im fine with it. For me its much more about the story.

To be honest, I love the idea of Rake, so he is welcome to join. He can be inside with the head priest. Let me have his details etc. ASAP if possible.
