Let me take a quick minute to congratulate Sydney, Australia, VC Al Rigg, on being awarded the fourth campaign service award.
Al has been a Venture-Captain for 18 months and has done a phenomenal job. The Sydney area is a huge region, with more than 4.5 million people. But, Al wasn't content with just Sydney. He reached out to surrounding cities and brought no less than five additional ones into the fold including Hurstville, Blacktown, Canberra, Newcastle, and Wollongong. In all of these areas, Al helps his VLs coordinate and manage game days in 12 stores in the core region of Sydney and 8 stores in the outer region of Sydney.
He has reached out to the Australian library system to help coordinate regional and national gaming awareness days. Additionally, he has reached out to 7 universities in his region to try to have Pathfinder Society included on their calendars.
His region has grown from a handful of players to more than 315 contacts as of his last region report.
He has had a significant role in supporting more than 10 Australian conventions a year, paying significant out of pocket costs for both travel and convention product support for players and GMs.
Finally, he has been instrumental in the creation and development of the new website for PFS Australia.
Congratulations Al. You are now PFS #704!

Grats Al! Very impressive job and it was nice to have caught up with you in Melbourne at Arcanacon. Hope to play some more games with you in the near future - your Urban Druid was awesome... until the druid tried to calm a giant beetle down and it trampled both our characters... that wasn't quite as fun.

Wow. Thanks all for your congratulations, and thanks to Mike and Paizo for this award. I wasn't expecting it at all and was a bit speechless for a moment when Mike surprised me at the Lissalapalooza Q&A (that he had been ably conducting for the previous hour while I tried in vain to TPK my Broken Chains party).
I do this for the love of the game, and of Paizo as a company, and because I want everyone else to love it as much as I do. We're having some success in that regard here in Sydney and I hope there is much more success to come.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to give Mike my heartfelt thanks for visiting Sydney and killing around 20 PCs in Bonekeep at Lissalapalooza. Everyone had a fantastic time dying at your tables, and we hope you, and other Paizo staff, will grace us with your d20s again in the future!
Thanks again, everyone.
Al

Congratulations Al
Well done and well deserved.
I think that both Stpehen and Al have done a lot for we players here in Oz, not to diminish the efforts of the many other contributors. Good job. I look forward to PaizoCon Oz 2014.
Great to see Mike Brock in Oz this year too. Good job Mike, and nice to meet you in person.
