At Thistletop there are a couple of situations where the PCs can suffer ability score damage from goblinberries or contract tetanus, but the Anniversary Edition doesn't specify a cure for either; is it just a saving throw?
For these and certain poisons throughout the adventure, how have others handled their removal? Spells like cure disease are too high level for the party to cast at this point, & if someo e like Father Zantus is able to, then why wouldn't he step up to clear out the goblins more actively?
If the answer is scrolls & potions, where would the party likely acquire them, & how would theyafford them in a worst case scenario where they are all afflicted?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I think the goblinberries and stinging nettles (p.40) are just one-time events; save or take 1 point of Dex or Str damage.
Tetanus (p.51) doesn't have a 'cure' entry, and "Afflictions without a cure entry can only be cured through powerful spells, such as neutralize poison and remove curse. No matter how many saving throws are made, these afflictions continue to affect the target." (Core Rulebook, p.556)
It looks like they'd have to buy spellcasting or a magic item; Sandpoint's marketplace has a base value of 1300gp, and a scroll of remove disease is only 375gp -- there's a 75% chance of being able to buy it. It also has spellcasting up to 4th level available. I'd guess perhaps a cleric from Magnimar would travel to cast the spell.
As for why higher-level characters don't step up to take a more active role, I've had to deal with this in campaigns I've run. Most NPCs will defend against a threat, but they don't want to risk their lives to try and kill something that might be a threat someday. If you need more, perhaps Zantus has a vow that requires him to perform some rite in the cathedral every day.
Once the PCs start "The Skinsaw Murders" they should gain level 5, and their cleric can cast remove disease. Alternatively, the party's cleric or druid could use lesser restoration to keep the victim alive until they can make the 50-mile trip to Magnimar, where the spell remove disease will cost 150gp.

First and foremost, I am not a doctor nor and I a medical professional. If you have been exposed to tetanus seek medical aid right away! Having said that the trouble with no cure being listed is that tetanus in the real world is curable with the in game equivalent of fort saves and heal checks according to the research I have done. so why is there no cure listed?

Heal checks to treat diseases (tetanus is a disease) is equal to the disease's save DC. For tetanus, it's a Fort 14 DC.
