Ms. Bonnie just came in to give me another break......it's a good thing too. I had a big thing of chocolate milk with my lunch, a 12 oz soda pop in the room to keep me caffeinated, plus about sixteen ounces of water.....I was fixin to bust! Lol Now I get my fifteen minute break and have my ginger snap cookies. Yay!

I'm probably going to be gone most of tonight. Bachelor party for a friend. Driving out to Iowa for a 5th ed game 17ish people run by the worst DM I've ever had...
Well.....the party sounds fun.....but not sure about the game there dude. Doesn't sound like it would be very enjoyable. I'm sitting outside waiting for henry and it feels so damn nice out here. Henry said it's like 56°......but, it doesn't bother me.

17 people is way too many. Probably take a half hour just to get through one round of combat. Not to mention how that many people throws balance right out the window.
It's 13th level in a system that isn't even fully out yet. No Monster Manuel or DMG.
It's a conversion from 2e called "Night Below" the first game I ever played in was his 3.5 conversion and it did not go well at all.
Then.....why go? There must be a reason you want to go.....so what's the draw?

The DM isn't the one getting married and while I don't much like his games he's still a friend. Plus most of these people live in Fremont,NE so I don't get to see them very often, others I've never met before. Plus free food.

Yeah....so why is it lately we can never seem to just come home and go to sleep?
I almost got powdered doughnuts myself when we were at the store....but, Henry said no way....I was sad, but I know it's for my own good if I'm gonna sleep at all today.

I just had a lady call and complain about a bus in the parking lot. She was mad because IF the person that was parked next to her hadn't left moments before she did she wouldn't have been able to leave. Then she got mad when I didn't apologize and said she wouldn't stay here again.
On what planet are people, not even involved in the situation, expected to apologize for the potential of an inconvenience?
That is beyond ridiculous. At least if she keeps her word you won't have to put up with her again. That is one of those things that falls under my, people are stupid category.
She used the phrase "people who actually paid" to describe herself as she was talking about the issue. That bus is paying us $4500 over 4 nights. She booked through Priceline and paid us $90 for 2 nights.
