It's standard Will Ferril silliness but that character always cracks me up.

I'm not really a Will Ferrell fan. I guess I just need to watch the right film with him in it.

Ultimate Campaign, Mythic Adventures, or an Adventure Path.

Already had Ultimate Campaign and I don't do book adventures (not as well as other DMs, mind you). So it's the second one and it's already given me a bunch of lovely ideas, especially concerning Drago's mother.

So I watched Dredd today and I want to start a new campaign...

The remake? I heard it was bad.

I really liked it. I knew what I was getting into (big, dumb action flick), but it was surprisingly good, though it did have several scenes that made you go "It was a 3D film". Karl Urban was more believable than Stallone and a bit more realistic-looking too.

On a slightly related note, I'm excited about the Robocop reboot.

I'm uncertain about that. I had a discussion with my friend today about it. He thinks the movie will spend more time "humanizing" Robocop and I can see that.

I like reboots that do something different with the source material even if that flies in the face of the original.

That said, nobody wants a whiny Robocop.

Used to have Hot Fuzz, but I wasn't too wild about it. I have Paul. That was a good movie.
