Advice

Ideas for a bad guy in my campaign. players are mid level with some mythic thrown in.

Before you all freak out and say "dont sunder their gear" the players opened that can of worms first.

Anyhow i have been pondering the best way to scare teh crap out of them, even if they kill the baddy.

Any thoughts on a good feat chain and build? Go wild

Human
Fighter (Weapon Master Scimitar)

-Stats-
STR 14 (+4 Leveling)(+6 Magic item)
DEX 17 (+2 Racial)(+1 Leveling)
CON 11
INT 14
WIS 10
CHA 07

-Feats-
01 Two-Weapon Fighting, Improved Shield Bash, Weapon Focus Scimitar
02 Combat Expertise
03 Power Attack
04 Weapon Specialization Scimitar
05 Improved Sunder
06 Greater Sunder
07 Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
08 Improved Critical
09 Critical Focus
10 Shield Slam
11 Shield Master
12 Bashing Finish
13 Greater Two-Weapon Fighting
14 Sundering Strike
15 Tiring Critical
16 Exhausting Critical
17 Sickening Critical
18 Critical Mastery
19 Greater Weapon Focus Scimitar
20 Greater Weapon Specialization Scimitar

-Method-
Use a Heavy Spiked Shield enchanted with +4 for defense and enchanted with Bashing, Holy, and Speed for offense so when u are shield bashing ur shield counts as a +5 holy weapon that does 1d10+str that also does not take the two-weapon fighting penalty and keeping shield bonus to AC. When ever u score a crit with ur Scimitar, on a 15-20 dice roll, u get a free shield bash and sunder while also giving the target the Exhausted and Sickened condition. Scimitar should also be enchanted with Speed to give u 5 attempts to get a free shield bash on those crits. If ur lucky u can get 14 attacks in a single round.

CR?

wow. just wow. That is evil as all hell. Hopefully my players are not reading, but I just might have to save him for when they get to higher level. I could just see their faces. OK and 14 attacks later you are standing with only your underwear which is also broken lol

U can move Sunder Strike up a bit which could be a good idea depending on level u want this guy to be. The buty about Sunder strike is that its an auto thing that requires no actions to do but getting a crit off.

Lantern Lodge

thanks lol
Btw this is y all the caster i make that has access to it is the Make Whole spell.

For other builds i made check out the following thread:

Why not a Piston Maul, or Longsword(for Shatterspike)?

Throw in Gauntlets of the Skilled Maneuver and Steelhand Circle Ring.

Also, Breaker Barbarian is another option outside of Fighter.

Lantern Lodge

Not a fan of the Piston Maul and Longsword does not have the crit.

Also not a fan of Barbarian either, never have since ive played this game unless its a savage worlds setting.

Also build was originally created to be a shield bash build that turned into a crit fisher.

Grand Lodge

What is wrong with Barbarians?

What is the level and composition of the party?
Do you want this enemy to be defeated in one try, or reoccur?
Do you want a single enemy, or a group?

Lantern Lodge

Im not a fan because of its rage power. Primarily the serious drawback that comes with it that u need another character, cleric for the most part, to deal with it until it hits level 17. Also not to mention its atrocious ac since most players that play them dont know how to up the things defenses. So in all its not even a glass canon its a tissue canon. Not to mention in a RP perspective there is no place for one of them in a city or any civilized society hence savage world games were society is not as advance and there is no trained warriors.

I would appreciate it though if we dont turn the thread into a pro/con barbarian class so if u want to discuss it more and voice opinions like such lets do it in a thread dedicated to it. But ya to answer ur quest blackbloodtroll this is y.

all level 6 mythic 1

barbarian, witch (mostly healing, and with slumber), a magus (tovenaar/staff magus), Oracle 1/Bard 5, Spellslinger/Rogue

A bit over WBL currently, and high stats

This is a one shot enemy. I suspect he will be splattered.

Grand Lodge

Whirlwind Sunder sounds like a good option.
