Is there a way to gain access to another races Favored Class Bonuses?

The Specific situation is for a King Maker game. Our DM had us make a 13 RP race, I made a Human / Half-orc / Half-Elf Hybrid (Humanoid - Human, Orc, Elf) race and I'm wondering if I can take Half-Elf Favored Class Bonus somehow.

You can ask your GM. That's the only way I know of.

I'm kinda prudish about asking for special exceptions. Not that it isn't a valid option but I'm looking for a more "by the book" way.

The Racial Heritage feat from the Advanced Race Guide should work, though the rulings on it have always been a bit vague or inconsistent.

I was thinking that was my best bet as well, I appreciate the input from both you and Azten.
