Funny enough, I stumbled on this just recently.
...
Although known as the Sword of Pride, in appearances, Baraket is nothing more than an elegant basket hilt seemingly made of glass or highly polished crystal with no blade, as the deadly length of this +5 spell storing speed rapier is invisible. Baraket grants its wielder a +5 bonus on Bluff checks made to feint, so long as his opponent cannot see through invisibility. Additionally, on a critical hit, the sword casts weird upon the target and all of that creature's allies within 30 feet.
Not sure if this might be what you're thinking of. The invisibility seems tied to the +5 Bluff to feint on this. Personally, for an invisible sword, that actually seems kinda boring, but YMMV. It's a thought at least.

What exactly would the effect of an invisible blade do? It wouldn't really be good for sneak attacks, since anyone you attack will still be aware the attack is taking place. Might be good for a bonus to hit though, which could simply be the effect of the weapon's enhancement bonus.
Dagger of the Invisible Blade: This +3 dueling dagger is just like any other dagger, except its blade is invisible, appearing only to be a dagger's hilt.

I would think it would partially negate any Dodge and DEX bonuses to AC due to being harder to gauge where the actual blade is and avoid it.
Strictly speaking I would also be tempted to apply a lesser penalty to hit on the wielder, due to not always being 100% certain of just where his strikes are landing.
This would have the perverse effect of actually applying a penalty to the wielder when facing a heavily armored foe with no Dodge/DEX bonuses to AC, as only the hit penalty would be in effect.
But that's probably a bit too much realism. :)
So to make it actually enticing, I would suggest something like making it a weapon enchantment option. I would value it at '+1' and let it grant +2 to hit (not damage). The intent being it isn't strictly speaking an enhancement bonus and so won't help you defeat DR, but will help you land blows, moreso than a straight up +1 would. If that's underpowered, the bonus to hit could be increased or additional features could be added (e.g. the aforementioned +5 to Feint). To avoid other issues, I would stipulate the wielder is always able to see through the blade's invisibility.
