So as the title says I am starting a new campaign this year that is centered in the 4th Crusade of Mendev.
Are there any books or materials out there based on this region? I have the Inner Sea Guide but am looking for more lore about the land and maybe some guides to the last crusades.
Or has anyone run a demonic game and have any tips or hints for RPing demons or interacting with demonic intrests?

The module 'The Demon Within' takes place in Mendev and gives information on the wardstones and life within the country.

Question: Are 3.5 Encounters harder than Pathfinder one? I mean in terms of raw ECL/CR?
Tricky question.
PF characters and creatures are both more powerful (in a way), however many PF spells have been slightly nerfed compared to 3.5, and the monsters' increases generally make up for any perceived increases of the character classes. This also brings casters and martials much more in line with each other.
That said, a splat-booked 3.5 character (at least a magic wielder) while being comparatively fragile (hit point wise) can and probably will dominate rather hard.
