Lesser Hurling and Hurling Charge

Rules Questions

Does Hurling Charge mean the barbarian can hurl a big object for falling object damage during a charge (when normally it takes a full round action) or does it just mean that the barbarian can draw and throw a regular throwing weapon during a charge?

Grand Lodge

Those two things are both full-round actions, and cannot be combined.

Hurling Charge can be combined with the Charging Hurler feat though.

Yeah, that's how it seems to read RAW to me as well but I can't figure out the RAI.

Why does it use the word "hurl" in Hurling Charge and why is Lesser Hurling a requirement for it if the two are mutually exclusive? Is it really working how they meant it to be?

Grand Lodge

Lesser Hurling is what get's you up to Greater Hurling, and chuck objects one size category larger than yourself.

Having Lesser Hurling as a prerequisite for Hurling Charge was likely a decision based on balance.
