Reporting Items to be DQ'd

Anyone else wish that there was a write in section for when you DQ'd an item? I know it should be obvious if an item should be DQ'd for breaking:

Submission is not a wondrous item.
Submission is not anonymous.
Submission exceeds 300 words.
Submission does not conform to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game (it must contain the proper mechanics and flavor); see pages 496-532 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook for examples.
Submission is copied from a previously published source.
Submission uses rules, monsters, or copyrighted material from publishers other than Paizo.

But what if it's not that clear cut?

Most often I've found items that should be DQ'd are breaking the first rule. They've got artifact level power. Is this enough to hit the report button? Or do I just vote for the other one?

I wouldn't report an item for DQ if I felt that it was too powerful to be considered a wondrous item since this is subjective to a certain degree. Powers intended for high level players are not necessarily artifacts.

That said, high level powers tend to be rather boring as they usually bypass some significant element of gameplay making them less than Superstar. I simply would choose not to vote for it to allow others to come to the same conclusion trusting that the item will be ranked accordingly.

To some degree, being able to provide a reason why you are recommending that the item be DQ'd would be helpful when you feel that the submission may have been copied from a previously published source. Although the judges would be very familiar with many sources in the industry, nobody can memorize everything and being able to point them in the right direction could help.

So far I have not seen any items that I feel should be DQ'd for this reason and I'm sure that it rarely happens.

The judges are the final arbiters of which entries need to be disqualified. You can trust them to evaluate items that people have flagged for breaking the rules so there's no need to provide a reason.

The report item button is to be used for breaking the contest rules, not for poorly designed items. If it's an IP violation, offensive, not a wondrous item—these are reasons to use the report button.

was the 'report' function removed?
i'm looking at a voting page (in another tab) and it isn't there...
i'm pretty sure the item i'm looking at is technically a construct (as per the "intelligent item" rules), should i just vote and move on or wait until i can report it?

For me there's items that seem to rip off other material but aren't blatantenough to be considered plagiarism they never get my vote. I also see lots of OP stuff or borderline not a wonderous item issues but if the judges didn't eliminate in their screening those items also do not get my vote.

We've removed the report function because we have enough data for the judges to find items that should be disqualified. They're still working on reviewing the reported items so you may still see some that deserve disqualification for now. We hope to have that task finished soon, after that if you see an item you'll know it's not an automatic DQ.

The judges have finished reviewing all the reported items, and a number of them have been removed from further voting.
