Repeating items.

Yeah I'm seeing heaps and heaps of the same items again and again. I only used the "Both items are equally good/bad" button about twice. I'll keep going because it's nice when I do get a good item to vote for, but too often I'm seeing the same stuff.

At this point I am only seeing 'new' items one every 4-5 votes.

I'm starting to see a lot of new items that aren't bad. Maybe it's just luck. Or maybe people have stopped using the "equal" button.

Therein lies the flaw....if item x is horrible but slightly better than y...and get seen 150 times more than item z...which is amazing....will item x make it to top 64...while item z never gets seen by the actual judges....?

Number of impressions is both controlled and irrelevant. Unless X is rated as better than Z (or better than something which is better than Z), then X will not be above Z.

It doesn't move X above Z if X is better than A1-G22, all of which are worse than Z.

There's an item that I've seen maybe 10 times now, and I have voted for it in every pairing it has shown up in. I'm not sure I've seen an item yet that I'd promote over it. I really like that item, and hope it makes it into the 32.

Unfortunately, it's not my item, but I'm sure someone out there is equally impressed with my item, hahaha.
