At the risk of bringing down the scorn and ire of those who think clerics shouldn't concentrate on healing, I'm toying with the idea of a new Society character who does just that.
I was wondering...
(1) Are there other sources for information on Milani in addition to Faiths of Purity, Gods & Magic, and The Inner Sea World Guide?
(2) Regarding the Merciful Healer archetype at p. 41 of Ultimate Combat: do characters who take the archetype and thus sacrifice one domain, obligating them to take Healing for that which remains, have access to the Healing-associated subdomains? (I note that Milani supports the Restoration subdomain, which is the one I'm interested in.)
Cheers,

The typical position is not that clerics shouldn't concentrate on healing, just that they shouldn't have to. If you choose to, great! :)

I dunno, but it seems unlikely.

When you have a subdomain, you count as having the associated domain. But I haven't looked at that archetype to see if it's a special exception.

You can find a mention here and there if you scavenge all the books but nothing more in-depth than those sources. Milani has not yet appeared in an Adventure Path article.

You should indeed be able to take the restoration subdomain.
Willing Healer: A merciful healer must choose the Healing domain. She does not gain a second domain. If the cleric worships a deity, that deity must be one that grants the Healing domain. A merciful healer must channel positive energy.
Subdomains are treated as equivalent to their associated domain for any effect or prerequisite based on domains.
As far as I know the only cleric archetype that specifically bans subdomains is the dwarven Forgemaster from Advanced Race Guide, which requires the Artifice domain (no subdomains).

There is a nice little gem regarding the "other" gods I became friends with on the additional resources page. Located on the right sidebar under "Website Blogs" you will see some blog posts about deities.
Milani is associated with these domains/subdomains:
Milani: Azata, Defense, Freedom, Purity, Restoration, Revolution

Details on Milani? We've just got to wait a bit longer:
Adventure path in March will go into details on her.

I think it depends on the type of cleric that you are playing and the god that is being worshipped. I do not necessarily think that a cleric of a god of water or a god of artifice or nature will be ones that are going to be going around using their spells just to heal. Clerics of, say Mishakel, well that is another story.
